Let me preface this blog by saying I really should be a cruise sales person lol. I just love em! Anyone who knows me, knows I do love a good cruise! It ties in nicely with the whole subject of well being for sho!!!
The image of cruising is on the change but it does tend to traditionally conjure up ships full of retirees not doing much... And whilst this may be true and whilst there is definitely not anything wrong with said image, it is so much more than that (cue: mini rampage... Lol).
My first cruise was with Abraham. I had just been into Abe for a few months and I was so eager to see them live. But it wasn't worth it going all the way to the USA just for a day or two at most of lectures. So for some crazy reason I went on my own, looking back I'm like- 'how bloody brave was that!. I was fairly young- mid 20s and didn't know anyone, not one soul! I don't think I was on Facebook and/or it wasn't that big at the time, so I wasn't able to connect with anyone in advance (whereas nowadays it is so incredibly easy to make online friends with plans to meet in person once onboard).
It was the Mexican Riviera cruise and I have to say it wasn't the most comfortable experience, like I said, I didn't know anyone and little young, introverted me definitely wasn't gregarious enough to go chatting to a bunch of strangers, so I spent most of the time on my own (which is something I prefer to do anyway, but it's still nice to at least have the option to connect with people!!!). I didn't make it to the hot seat and whilst it was awe inspiring to be there, I don't think I was able to take in much of the material (although looking back on it now, the material from that cruise is still one of my faves!). So all in all, it was an ok but definitely not a wow wow experience!
I think however, it was the weeks and months that followed that I really saw changes happen in my life. I was definitely expecting some sort of miracle vibrational shift whilst on the cruise but didn't see it then and there. It was a gradual filtering through. I think I began to appreciate the well being flowing through as time went on and at the end of that year I saw Abe for the second time in Phoenix and made it to the hot seat!
I asked them what could take me to the next level, as life was pretty good. They gave me the biggest compliment EVER when they said that they knew I knew Law Of Attraction- that there was 'nothing in my vibration which led them to believe that I didn't understand all of this.' WOW, how cool! Anyhoo, they basically told me to get over myself, stop trying to control the uncontrollable and go to sleep and wake up in the Vortex.
Somewhere down that line, I decided to go on the next Mexico cruise (I was used to flying to the States by that point in my life and Mexico was relatively cheap as cruises go). I made it to the hot seat again and chatted about bits and pieces.
So by this point I begin to realise that spending an extended time in a well being state, for me at least, really has a powerful after effect on my vibration and what manifests. By which point I'm with more friends and enjoying things much more on the cruise.
Fast forward a little bit and I am really being conscious and using my time to relax and allow my vibration to rise on these things! At that point I'm thinking that it's because it's an Abe cruise that the well being flows to me so much more.
For some reason, I start taking regular cruises sans Abe. And the good stuff and well being still continues to flow even without the Abers. I went with my friend on a mini cruise, they weren't particularly into this work, but I vividly remember saying to them something along the lines of- I'd be very interested to see what unfolds as a result of this trip. And the stuff that happened blew our minds, a job promotion, new laptop, phone and all sorts of good shizzle occurred. As Abe says- a little release of resistance goes a long way in someone who has been quite resistant! It certainly highlighted to me the power of allowing, getting off a subject and letting your vibe naturally rise!
Now I am DEFINITELY NOT saying that you should run out and all take a cruise (although I personally cannot recommend them enough lol), nor am I saying that if you were to take such a vacation that magically a load of good stuff would manifest. What I am saying is that you would be wise to take some time to get in a space and time whereby your vibration can rise completely- with minimal worry and stress- that feeling of completely peace within your gut, your emotional centre.
I believe the reason why cruises are so good is because it fully allows your vibration to rise. For me at least, it has all the elements of well being. Internet is expensive and really slow and as you're either at sea and/or abroad it isn't always possible to use your phone, so I use that time to completely switch off from the world, so there's no way I can fuss over what needs to be done. Your food (which is really an important, integral part of my beingness- moreso than for most people) is completely taken care of (and usually extremely delicious!). Your room is tidied twice a day! I'm like WTF, how dirty/clean can the room get?! There are endless ways to be entertained- the shows, casinos, shops, buffet, room service (did Ia mention the food?! As one Mexican tour guide I had, put sagely 'I hear you're fed 25 hours a day!). Anyhoo, you basically don't have to worry about a thing, especially the constant daily worries that you would normally have- what do I eat, I gotta clean now, I've got to do this, this and this. An employee wrote 'it really allows you to live in the moment!'
Your vibration can raise so high and so purely that you release a ton of resistance!!! Thus, allowing your vibration to rise and your good stuff to come in! On a side note, as it has such a clearing effect, someone can experience huge contrast upon returning, this is what Abe calls 'All hell breaking loose' or what I've found to be the Herxheimer Effect- the clearing and expulsion of crap from a purified system. It just depends where you are in relation to it all.
So, it begs the question which I posed as my blog title- 'Why doesn't everyone experience (what I call) 'cruise alignment'?' And to some degree it really does baffle me somewhat!!! However, I have come to the conclusion that it is because people complain and fuss and worry on their holidays like they do in normal life! Just take a gander at 'Cruise Critic' a forum for holidaymakers and the like. It is filled with all sorts of criticism! People will still moan and gripe, thus blocking their vibration!!! In everyday life I try not to complain but hey I'm only human, so I still can do- a lot! But I really am conscious in activating as little negativity whilst I'm on holiday, the crew work sooo incredible hard, most people don't realise how hard these people work to ensure you're having a magnificent break and especially as British culture is not tip friendly, it can dip into lack consciousness with regards to financially rewarding the staff (although this should be done by inspiration not motivation- you should want to tip them, not feel like you have to!).
So like life- it can be the Heaven or Hell you make it to be. You can always find things to fuss and complain about, but you can also find things to appreciate and be in awe of. And don't look for situations to be perfect and use conditions to feel good, instead, try to feel good from the inside then look out into the world (though it does help if you're on a stunning ship!).
So, whether it's a cruise, a mini city break or just an afternoon to yourself. Just take some time out with no distractions and allow you vibration to rise. You'll be amazed at the results!!!
Happy cruising!!!
All my love, Nick Xxx
