The other morning I was putting some Abe on YouTube to uplift me spirits! And it was quite interesting. This lady was commenting to Abraham how technology was going at such a rapid pace and if memory serves me, she wasn't all that comfortable with how fast it was all unfolding.
Fair enough! We do live in tremendously instant paced era. You can contact most anyone, anywhere with a few clicks of a whatsapp, Facebook button!
But then what struck me when I looked at the video's description was that it was posed in 1992! (OMG! Almost a quarter of a century ago! Man how time flies!). I then recalled another Abe clip where Esther was reading a book about the same sort of thing. World crisis, too much tech etc. But what struck her was that was written years and years ago!
Isn't that interesting?! Nowadays it really does feel that technology and all sorts of things are going at breakneck speed, far faster than many can keep up with. But what's being highlighted here is that the now always feels that way! Because now is all we have and is the most developed we will be. We are always going to be expanding and pushing forth because that is the very nature of who we are.
And it really comes down to your two options of reacting. You can either get upset and complain or you can sift and sort through what there is and make the best of it!
And how far we've come as a planet. It has never been easier to be interconnected with our loved ones across the globe. At our fingertips we have most everything we need to live a powerful, easy life. You don't even need to leave home for most things.
The trick is to filter and focus upon things which you enjoy, which support the best of who you are and what you love. Because you could go through the rest of your life lamenting that it isn't like the 'good old days' or you can revel in the tremendous diversity that surrounds you!
All is well and will continue to be!!!
Happy technology-ing!!!
