I was on my way work today, popping into the local Sainsburys and I was queueing up for the till. I entered my card to the chip and PIN when a stranger just walked by and said 'Mate, you dropped your ticket.' I looked down and saw that I had indeed dropped a ticket on the floor (really must stop trying to juggle my phone, travel card, credit cards etc! Lol).
Thankfully it actually wasn't a train ticket, it was a receipt from my tickets which I had just printed out from the card collection machine. (On a side note, I am just being aware of how convenient and efficient all these wonderful machines make things- flashback to having to queue for HOURS if I wanted to renew my travelcard, what was Oyster?!). I have previously blogged at how when I have lost or dropped things, I have always had them returned to me, so I am therefore glad for my overarching dominant vibration of well being in that department!
Anyhoo, moving on. Literally seconds later, a customer was walking out of Sainsburys and she dropped one of her personal effects. A shop assistant called after her immediately saying 'You dropped something!'
Cut to a few minutes later, I was in the queue to get the bus, and someone kindly nodded to a stranger indicating they could go in front of them.
I was mightily impressed with all these wonderful acts of kindness all within the space of a few minutes! It would be easy for any of those helpers to just have walked by and not paid any attention. But they decided to assist their fellow man!
It highlighted to me that there is so much good in the world out there. But as with all things it's where your perception is (incidentally my workmate texted me a few minutes later to say that he was dashing into work but all these people were getting in his way!).
I've heard it commented that London isn't that friendly a city, and whilst it isn't quite as warm as the more provincial French cities (I remember being in Montpellier or thereabouts and the bus driver just chatted away to the passengers!). But I love London and with all things- you can be focused on what's right or what's wrong with a situation.
Set your vibrational tone and let Law Of Attraction bring things to you which are a match to your well being.
I was just watching Abraham during my lunch break and they were helping a daughter with dealing with her mother. Obviously the daughter had so much negative expectation towards her mother that that was all she could offer. Now we're not saying the mum wasn't difficult, it's just that when your expectation of someone or something is so locked into one way, it is nigh impossible for the Universe to bring you anything different!
So that's the goal, you are constantly surrounded by wonderful people, things and stuff. Just shift your focus towards it and it will make itself known to you,, it just takes a bit of conscious focus!
Happy good-ing around you!!!
Lots of love, Nick Xxx
