She was saying how especially in the last kilometre when she was flagging, it made a tremendous difference to have the crowds cheer her on and it helped her be able to complete it. Rather surprising but I guess when you take into account how tired and drained you'd be at that point every little helps!
So the lesson here is to develop your own internal cheering squad when you're facing any challenges. When things go bad (or good!), having a good internal chatterbox really makes a huge difference in how you see and face the world.
It also helps to link with and surround yourself with positive people! Groups, Facebook, YouTube etc there are so many ways to connect with those who would love to know you. Just take the first step to reach out and connect!
Life is just a perception of it all! Make it a good one as things will be far more enjoyable and fun for you if you do. Be your best friend and cheerleader as ultimately yours is the best relationship you'll ever have.
All is well!!!
Happy cheer-ing!!!
Lots of love, Nick Xxx
