Break the chain of family pain!!! It starts with you!!! Xxx

I was watching one of the guilty pleasure reality shows and they were having a sort of mini family reunion and they were reflecting on the abuse, disfunction and arguing they had and were still having! The older brother, more mature and wiser and objective was able to tell them that the chain of pain had to be broken with them.

Instead of their children turning out as abusive, alcoholics and following in their footsteps, they had to instigate positive change.

Just because of what you or your family has gone through, no matter how many generations have been the same, it doesn’t matter. If you want to change and live a good life, you can. You just have to be open and willing. Keep working it!
