Happy Valentine's Day dear ones!
If you're in a relationship I hope you had a romantic day. If you're a singleton then I hope you also had a romantic day!
Me being the rebel that I am, I don't usually like to subscribe to these sorts of occasions! Lol.
Especially if you're single on this day, then you may feel the pressure of it. But like anything, it usually is society who holds the notion of such things (or at least the way we hold society holding us to these things!). However, you get to choose. And if you choose to ignore it, then we say 'Good for you!'
Run your life the way you wish and work from a place of inspiration not obligation. Let everyone else's opinions go! It surprises me when people go out of their way to go big for Xmas- why not just be a wee bit nicer throughout the year? Well, unless it's family you really can't stand haha!
But my point is, be you and run your life in the way your internal guidance sees fit. Not what anyone or anything out there says you should.
I came across some fun articles in the newspaper. So before I forget, I wanted to attach them to this blog post!
The first is Sam Smith- the latest Brit musician to go global. Labelled a fat, unattractive (the media can be mean!), gay guy who used his heartbreak of falling for straight guys to inspire his album (much like Adele used her break ups to inspire her album) . He has smashed a load of chart record here and in the USA. So he is riding high! Anyhoo, he just mentions briefly that he created his own vision board- and it came true!
The second is comedienne Shappi Khorsandi, who tells the story of how things went horribly wrong for her first time round but she overcame the contrast to smash it! Really funny- especially when she faked fainted lol
Happy rest of Valentining!!! All my love and more, Nick Xxx
