Those were the lyrics to the booty busting song of Pitbull's called 'Time Of Our Lives.' It basically sings that even though times are tough, they still want the time of their lives on a night out.
Anyhoo, a while ago, I saw some lady post the above lyrics and say she didn't think that she should listen to the song as the words about working hard and not being able to pay rent obviously don't vibrate at a good feeling level for her. But funnily enough, that has been one of my favourite songs on repeat!
It holds special memories as it was what I heard on most nights on the dance floor on the Abe Fiji cruise, and those really were some of the best times! Dancing full out in the Quasar club, surrounded by amazing people, in the middle of the South Pacific- life doesn't get much better than this!
I also happen to love the melody, lyrics and beats of this groove. I find it uplifting and upbeat. So it just goes to show that to each their own! There's not one path to alignment nor set thing which is inherently positive or negative. Yes, there are some things which have a more negative and others with a more positive bent, but you have to work out what makes you feel good and gets you in the flow.
I'm currently watching and love, love, loving the TV series 'How To Get Away With Murder.' It stars the magnificent Viola Davis and a stellar cast navigating the law and crime. It's a little bit heavier than my usual fare and definitely not something I would want to fill my consciousness with on a full time basis. But for a bit of entertainment, it really draws me into the moment, it is so gripping and well done!
