I was having a chit chat with one of my friends and I made a silly joke about something and they had a mini flip out- yikes! Instead of shutting down and saying nothing (my old programming), I maturely apologised and queried what their response was about. Turns out they had heard that joke a number of times and it just hit a button.

We didn’t really reach any satisfying conclusion but I remembered my Abe training and that that if they want to be annoyed and angry about anything, that’s their choice. For me, I just side stepped it and choose to remain in a good place.

All is well!!!
