I do enjoy seeing what songs make people tick and what is activated on in the general consciousness of it all. I like to check that charting positions of songs which seem really embedded with people and some surprisingly haven't charted greatly but have a longer lasting affect.
It goes to show that just because something does well according to one metric, doesn't mean it'll do well in another. One would've thought that number 1 in the charts would have a longer lasting impact but not always!
So it doesn't matter if you're first or the best, just keep working at the long term and it life must yield your desires to you!
