Play ball with what you do have!!! Not with what you don't!!! Xxx

I was watching this cute little teen movie called Thunderstruck. It was about how a clumsy 16 year old magically switches basketball talent with a professional player.

With his new playing skills he becomes the star of his school's team and Mr Populaire! After a while the pro player and his agent realise somehow the skills have been swapped and after some to and fro-ing the players manage to swap back their respective skills.

The clumsky kid who has been crowned king of his team has little skills left, but obviously their team is counting on him! Just before they go into their final stint, the kid pulls his game mates together and says to them 'we'll do the best we can with what we have!' And lo and behold they win!

Now, most of us won't have such quantum leaps. But often it can be the case that we 'magically' attract the job/relationship/chunk of money of our dreams. Only to find that some time later, it leaves our experience for whatever reason. Causing a lamenting of sorts.

You can try backtracking and whatnot but usually it serves you, much like that young chap did, to just make the best of where you are and move forward with whatever skills you have.

And that's one of our recommendations, don't get upset about what has or hasn't been, or how you will get it back. Instead, from where you stand, work out how you can feel better and move towards what you do want. In the certainty that whatever is next, will be bigger, brighter and better than before. It has to be! You are always adding to your escrow and moulding the vibrational clay of what's to come.

So enjoy what you have now, let go in secure appreciation of what has been, and anticipate in excitement that which is to come!

Happy skill-ing!!!

Lots of love, Nick Xxx
