Whether it’s setting up a new group or playing a song in a club, you just never can be quite 100% sure of things are going to go. Maybe it’ll be loved by the masses or maybe it’ll just go down like a lead balloon, you just have to keep going and do it.

If you can make sure that you’re having fun along the way and in the process of it all, that’s all you can do. You can’t control the crowd, the reaction or anything, all you can do is put your best foot forward and hope for the best. Over time and the more you do things, you’ll start to develop a feel for things and how they might go, but even then, things can surprise you. Just keep enjoying it all along the way.
