I was watching the powerful Reggie Yates' BBC series and in this episode he was looking at men who were into men's rights and not so much in favour for female rights. He interviewed a troll who posted some shockingly horrible stuff, for which he was eventually arrested for.
When Reggie got to interview him, either by this point he had been very contrited or he just wasn't as mean as his writings were, as he seemed quite reserved in person and he did say he wouldn't actually do what he wrote, it was just stuff he got caught up with at the time.
Anyhoo, who really knows. But what struck me was when he was talking about his previous experiences and it was from a place of disempowerment that all his chaos sprung. It reminded me of when Abe said something along the lines of- any negative lashing out always stems from a perceived loss of freedom somewhere. That's at the core of fighting, war and all that- 'You've done this to me, I feel powerless, so I'm going to try to compensate by overcompensating!'
And there is no real victory that comes from any of that. You must feel free in your own mind first and then the good will follow. And whilst your exact situations in your life may not feel that free, ('Oh, but I have to go to work, feed the kids and do the dishes!'), you can choose a thought that feels better and look for the best in any situation.
That's true freedom and power, being able to focus in your mind on where you to be and how you want things to unfold. That ability to be happy whenever you are is the greatest skill you could develop. And then you won't need war. And by the nature of it, the Law Of Attraction will bring you goodness to match your good feeling vibrations.
So be conscious, know that you are ultimately free, you have the choice in how you feel and that you can feel better wherever you are.
All is well!!!
Happy empowerment-ing!!!
