I was listening to an interview with Wayne Dyer and he was saying that when a young girl got dropped off at his orphanage, he saw she was really upset. So he befriended her and told her not to be so sad! There were no parents around to tell you what to do so she should be happy.
And what the spin that turned out to be. Even a young Wayne was able to put a positive perspective on what could be a really traumatic place!
And it lead to him ultimately being one of the most powerful modern day teachers of thought and well being.
It's all about how you see the world more than anything else which dictates your experience. If you believe that the world is a safe, great place to be then you'll for things which mirror that and life will bring it to you. But if you decide people and the world are not to be trusted, then you'll likely be met with that!!!
