I was watching a documentary where they pitched cats against dogs and which one was 'better.' They tested them on various skill sets- physical prowess, mental ability and so on.
The presenters were looking at trainability- how easy it was to get the animals to do what you wanted them to do. Dogs were obviously raised for thousands of years to be man's best mate and working alongside us.
Cats are known to be far more independent. However, one family showed them how easy it had been to train their cat. When questioned on how they did this, the owner replied with words to the effect of 'We reinforce the positive and ignore anything we don't want the cat to learn.'
It was funny because those words stood out for me! It is exactly the same when working with the Universe for what you want.
Give your undivided to that which you want and love in your life. And withdraw your attention from that which doesn't! It is kinda that simple! Love, appreciate and focus on the good.
