So tonight I popped over to Oxford to see comedienne Gina Yashere (I do love an adventure!). And what a riot! An amazing, almost 2.5 hours show, for less than £20- fantastic bang for the buck!
A lot of her stories were about her life and the contrast she experienced- everything from being stopped in every airport for a security search probably due to her being of a certain race, to pooing her pants as she had some dodgy Malaysian food!
Whilst in the midst of it, they were far from desirable life experiences. They did make for some wonderful comic material. For without this, what stories would there be left to tell? How everything went perfectly- boring!!! Especially for such an entertaining comedienne.
It is our desire that you can look upon the contrast you've experienced with some degree of humour.
This isn't easy to do, but when you've had enough time-space distance from the event, you can thank it for providing you with the material that constitutes your life!
As Christiane Northrup quoted 'Laughter lifts us up to God.'
Do your best to thank and all that you've been through as without it, you wouldn't be the greatness that you are. Anyone who's anyone has had their fair of trials and tribulations (Steve Jobs being fired from Apple, Branson, Sugar and tons of others not being very academically minded, Beyonces years of depression and so on...).
Bless it and move on and who knows it could be you on stage inspiring and entertaining others with your stories!
All is so very well. Lots of love, Nick Xxx
