How time flies! I used to work at the London BFI IMAX almost two decades ago- I was there when they played Fantasia 2000 a million times a day!
I really love film nowadays and I leapt at the chance to see a special showing of Inception at the IMAX with its wonderful soundtrack by the magnificent Hans Zimmer! 'Time' is the track I play at the end of almost every group.
And it is an amazing screen and sound system- the largest in Britain. I had a flashback to back in the day when I was employed there and whilst I thought it was good, I didn't appreciate how amazing it really is!
Especially as it was a workplace, I definitely wouldn't have had the appreciation I do now. It was more mundane and probably a place I couldn't wait to get away from ha!
And that can be the case with so much in our lives. Sometimes we just need an absence of whatever it is to feel that appreciation for what we have.
There is so much to feel gratitude for in our lives, we just need a reminder or some absence of it sometimes!
