As the magical phrase which Louise Hay heard that changed her entire beingness 'If you change your thinking, you can change your life!' It's true!
I think as the journey of self awareness keeps pulling us along, I think it serves us to self examine even further. Trying to pay attention to what's constantly going through your head and the tapes (or rather MP3s in this day and age!) that are playing.
Is it predominately good/bad, supportive/unsupportive? Is it your own true inner voice or is it your parents?!
Please be your own best friend! You live with yourself 24/7 so love, love, love yourself! Your most important relationship is with yourself.
Don't be modest (or at least on the inside!), congratulate, praise, big up, cheer yourself on through life. It may feel quite unnatural but odds are you've been berating yourself and it's about time for a change.
Louise Hay says that as soon as she's finished a workshop, she tells herself what an amazing job she's done, she will not say one bad or critical word to herself. Then the next day she will start to look at what she can improve for next time. She says, if she criticised herself when she first started out, she probably wouldn't have gone on stage again! And what a loss that would've been!
Look in the mirror, deep into your eyes and tell your beautiful reflection how much you love you. That you are perfection itself! This is how Source sees you. And that's why criticism feels bad- it's focused upon something in a way that the Universe does not see it! Breathe, relax and know how wonderful you are.
Happy dialogue-ing!!!
