I was running a group and some of the members were sharing some of their achievements these past few months and a number of them were firsts- their first trip on their own, classes, groups, their first divorce! It gets better and easier but taking that first step can be the hardest. Throwing yourself into the unknown for the first time, can be one of the most terrifying things but once you’ve done it, it gets so much easier.

The fear never goes away but how you deal with it does. You can’t let it stop you from getting out there and living your life. You just have to mix it up and do you. Enjoy it all.
