I was just watching 'Saving Mr Banks', the dramatization of how the film 'Mary Poppins' came about. Apparently 'For more that 20 years, Disney periodically made efforts to convince Travers to allow him to make a Poppins film.' Now I can't even imagine that- A/ waiting that long to do anything and B/ to have that much faith in a project that you're willing to pursue it no matter!
I guess that's how Disney became as big as it did. And become big did it! 'Mary Poppins' has been consistently one of the best films ever and is considered Disney's 'crowning glory!'
To develop that incomparable belief in yourself and your work is a tremendous power indeed. Because if you can believe it, you can achieve it. That is what we want for all of you! To believe in yourself so unwaveringly, to know that the choices you make are the best for you and to trust in who you are. Now that is the ultimate in beingness. At all times, you have this wonderful internal GPS system, guiding you towards people, places and things that will be pleasing to you. All you need to do is chillout and let go. Take a breath and know you greatness.
This segues nicely into my next part...
One of my most wonderful group members told me that a concept that she had, had already been used by another! There is little more frustrating or annoying, then coming up with a great idea, only to find out for one reason or another that it is unusable! But the downstream version of this story, is just to know that you're in alignment. Wouldn't you rather have the same brilliant idea as someone else than have no ideas or poopy ideas which doesn't really resonate with anyone else?
To know and to trust in the abundance of who you are. To know that you can create a billion more concepts, catchphrases at the the wave of your wand. Add to that a metaphorical spoonful of sugar and now we're talking! Your ability to create is unlimited, there will always be another and another and another exciting project for you to uncover, it is just to get into that space of allowing.
I remember years ago, when I didn't have an idea of a website but it was something I eventually wanted to do, I spoke to someone who created a really great site. Their advice to me was something along the lines of 'You want to put a limited amount of content on your site, so as to entice people and make them come back for more.' But that never really resonated with me. I've always been open with my time and advice and a website would be a great place to download all my knowledge into one accessible space for anyone and everyone to be able to access and consequently change their life!
I never want to hold anything back or be scared someone could use my material, because the vibrational basis from which it is created is mine. Just like I couldn't teach from someone else's notes, it would be nigh difficult to replicate what I do in the way I do it. So I have always been open to helping whoever, in whatever way I can. There is more than enough for us all!
I remember when I first came into this work, I was so hungry for material, listening to CDs, DVDs, websites, YouTube and whatever I could get my hands on. So by this point in my life, I wanted to create a resource for that hungry person out there who is wanting to learn and embark upon this life empowering journey.
So there you have it. Trust in yourself, know your vision. Accept the fact that there is more than enough for all and BOOM! Life will unfold 'in the most delightful way!!!!!'
