When we really want something, our attention can usually be on the lack of it or the desperate need for it- which is quite the same vibrational basis.
If you can somehow just realise that you don't need that thing to be happy, that you can be happy with who you are and what you have now, then you'll be in a more allowing, joyous and easy place that what you want can come to you.
It's about shifting that internal emotional landscape so you're not balled up in resistance. Try letting go somehow!
