They asked a group of people about how they had dealt with their issues using the power of their mind and they ran a test on mindfulness measuring brainwaves.
The results showed that there was a definite improvement when they did the brainwave readings after a period of meditation. The scientist commented that being present and mindful had a neutralising effect on negativity. So the more objective you can be, the more likely that you can choose to engage or withdraw. That's the clear minded basis that pausing the mind can do. It gives you the choice. Sometimes, or usually(!) we just go into default mode with our pre programmed responses.
Having a choice is what it's all about! That's what we want for you. Have a choice and go from there!
