Meetup Frequently Asked Questions
MY MEETUP GROUP FAQ
Here are some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) with more information on the groups. I hope it helps you feel at ease and if so inspired, please do join us. You never know, it could change your life- it certainly did mine!
Absolutely! Some of my best and brightest students didn’t know anything about this before coming along. If it feels right then feel free to join us, it is a very relaxed atmosphere and everyone is so supportive. All I would recommend is coming along with an open mind and willingness to try. Also, you can browse this site and read all the information which would prepare you tremendously well! If you do wish to know about it before coming, then The Secret (movie or book) by Rhonda Byrne is good introduction. Ask And It Is Given (book) by Abraham Hicks is amazing too, although it can a little heavy for a beginner. The book also has 22 life changing processes in the second half- highly recommended for everyone.
Yes. I totally agree, you could do the work on your own. Especially with all I’ve put on here and all the wonderful resources out in the world. I’m a huge proponent of taking the time to work on yourself in the privacy of your own home and mind. Having said that, there is nothing quite like being with a group full of like minded people all combined to focus in the same good feeling space. I always feel like flying after a group and I hope you do too. Everyone is always so supportive of each other and it’s a really friendly atmosphere.
There are many:
Please do not worry!
A/ Many of the members to each group are new
B/ We’ve all been there and all get nervous
C/ It is a really relaxed atmosphere. You only do what you want to do
D/ Everyone is so supportive and loving that you are never on your own (unless you choose to be left alone and that’s cool too)
So please, do you your best to relax and have fun. You have my full support.
That is great! If you don’t learn anything new (which might happen) then you might be able to share some of your wisdom and perspective. There are so many ways to look at things and you may help change someone else’s life- co-creation at its best. Even to this day, I’m still learning new techniques and I’ve been doing this work for years.
Maybe yes, maybe no. I realise that a lot of people attend the groups because they hear they can ‘manifest’ things and whilst that can be the case, it definitely is not the push behind the groups I teach. The Law Of Attraction teaches that you can be, do or have anything. However, the most important thing to realise is the FEELING GOOD! If you make feeling good the priority, then everything else will follow.
All the techniques, processes and theory we cover is to get you in a good feeling space so you can be happy without your stuff. And by the nature of it, your stuff will come. But you have to feel better first- that is the trick. Personally, I’ve found this works far better than anything else. There are plenty of other groups, teachers and schools of thought out there if you need something a bit more ‘goal oriented.’
You can find an overview of the group here.
But to summarise: relaxation exercises, introductions, processes, video clips and a closing meditation- all fun, focused and fulfilling activities.
No preparation is needed, just an open mind. However, if you did want to delve into this a bit before coming along, then watch or read The Secret by Rhonda Byrne- this is great introduction to the Law Of Attraction. Ask And It Is Given by Abraham Hicks is amazing (although it can be a little bit heavy for a beginner), there are also countless Abraham Hicks Youtube clips which cover virtually every subject.
Yes and no. The structure of each group is similar but I vary the processes and clips each time. And more importantly everyone will have something new to share with the group since the last time we met. We are all constantly evolving and learning so no two Meetups could ever be the same. The longer workshops are more in depth as we cover many aspects of life. There is more partner work and working of the processes!
One of the basic tenets I teach is to see how it feels to you. Does the group sound good to you? If you’ve managed to get this far, then it definitely would be something worth looking further into. Ultimately, if it’s something you think you’d enjoy, then definitely come along. If not, then maybe now is not the right time and there are many other groups out there which might resonate better.
To book your pay and reserve your spot then you need to visit that particular city’s Meetup page. When you join the group, you can select the event and above the guest list you update your RSVP to ‘Yes,’ you can then pay and secure your spot. After you’ve done this, make a note of the time, date and location and just show up.
My schedule is constantly changing so please visit this page to find out the latest cities I am teaching in. I generally run the groups once a month, although this can vary depending on all my other activities.
Yes, all are warmly welcome. I love seeing parent-child, friends and partner-partner combinations. However, I would strongly recommend that they are willing to come along and like the idea of it. As with all things in life- if done by choice, then it will be more beneficial than being ‘dragged along.’
Not at all. Just a willingness to show up and learn! Those as young as 12 years old to 90 years old have come to my groups! All come along and share and be a part of it- and we are all better off for the diversity. Anyone of any orientation, belief, gender, age is welcome. Again, as long as you are happy to be here, then I am happy to have you there.
Ha! I’m hoping if you’ve looked through this material, you’ve realised that this definitely isn’t a cult. If you’re unfamiliar with all of this, it can seem a bit cultish, but it really isn’t. I don’t know much about cults but one the major distinctions, is that of free will. You get to choose, I do not tell people what to do as everyone is different. Instead, I offer many alternatives and you take from it what you want. It is your choice.
I believe it’s the focus and good vibes from being around like minded people. For many, this is the first time they focus on what they want. Being able to leave a group with a great feeling of being alive and having the tools to take your life to the next level. Also, hearing the inspirational stories of other people really helps lift your soul. Life just doesn’t get any better than this.
Thank you so much! I spend a lot of time choosing the best clips and music that really resonate with me. Please contact me for anything in particular that you would like to know.
This is completely up to you. Some come to one session, many come when they can and others come along to every session. The more you put in, the more you get out. I would say that some regular practise of any kind is beneficial and the groups enhance this.
That is totally fine. If you could just let me know in so I can accommodate you.
Yes. This is why I created all the programmes and meditations- so anyone wanting to learn can spend the time doing so. Also check my resource pages where you can find out about other teachers and materials.
