So my friend was telling me that the other day, she got home and immediately sensed someone else had been there. The hubby was meant to have been out all day so she figured it wasn't him. So defences up and ready to fight or flight, she gingerly entered the premises...
It was only when she looked down at the table she noticed her husband's credit card, meaning he had been home in his lunch break. So she could relax and breathe a sigh of relief!
Although who really knows what it was, I conjectured it was her mother's intuition at work. You see, for the last year she has been tending to and caring for her newborn baby. Little is more powerful than a mother's love and so she has spent most every minute of every day for the past 12 ish months, making sure this dear one is doing well. As he has no language, she can tell when something is not quite right by interpreting his behavioural patterns, body motions, noises he makes etc. Thus developing a heightened instinct, gut feeling and being able to read non verbal cues.
Back in the day, that gut instinct was necessary for survival. Being highly aware of your surroundings and what lurks ahead was quite the life saving skill. Nowadays you can use it fine tune what goes into your life. When faced with a decision, tune into what feels right. Act on it and see what happens. The more you use it, the better you'll be at guiding your own life.
You always have your internal guidance- your connection to Source and we encourage you to follow this! All the greats have! It's just over time we get trained out of listening to ourselves as we take onboard advice from our parents, society, family and friends. But that's the goal- to trust in yourself and your intuition, that inner voice calling you forth to that which would bring you joy.
And who knows- it could save your life- literally and/or metaphorically!
Happy instinct-ing!!!
