As always, some beautiful points from everyone's leading conversation:
- 5 second rule. When you want to do something that's a bit scary, your mind can talk you out of it. If you nip it in the bud and just get it done and dusted, it can be a whole lot easier than being paralysed by fear and doing nothing!
- 30 day challenge- here's a tricky one! Try going without a negative thought for 30 consecutive days!!! Each time you think a negative thought it resets and you have to start at day one again!
- Hitting rock bottom (especially as JK Rowling puts it), builds the foundation for a stronger, more powerful life. Things maybe a bit pooey but when you pull yourself out about it, things can be so good! Beyoncé spent two years in depression when Destiny's Child split as she was so distraught, but look at her now!
- Switch to something positive. Try to break any negative cycle before it gains momentum. Pick a couple of wonderful things- an image of flowers, your fave holiday hot spot, anything that makes you feel good easily. Then when you get negative, switch it!
Thank you all for such an amazing evening, it was so good to be back!
Lots of love, Nick Xxx
