Great expectations... Or not??? What's the best way to get your stuff??? Xxx

Reading my Economics-Psychology book got me thinking about expectations and its vibrational effect. To have grand detailed expectations or to have low expectations- that is the question!

As with all things in life- it really depends on you and what feels good and how you best operate.

The bottom line is that you have to align your expectations with your belief systems. Some people out there are very goal oriented, very focused and very sharp minded (think of those business peoples). And for these, a powerful expectation is a no brainer, it feels good, it comes easily and ta da, manifestation station (Ooh I like that!).

For others, (like yours truly!), having expectations can create a little discomfort, it generates or usually exacerbates the control freak within us! So instead of being fun, it develops into 'it must be this way, it must be that way!' Otherwise we get ourselves into a tizz.

So why might 'expecting the worst', or 'not expecting much' yield very pleasing results?

I believe it would have something to do with a lower level of resistance. If you're not expecting much and if it doesn't go as planned, you're not as upset. So keeping it light and loose keeps resistance at bay.

Also, there's a psychological degree of relativity. For example, if you knew you got all the numbers in the lottery and were expecting a prize of at least £10,000,000, but you had found out that hundreds of people had won it too and so your share of the winnings was actually £100,000 (only!), then you would be far more disappointed than if you got a few lottery number right, expected maybe £10,000 but found out your prize was actually £100,000, you'd be off the charts happy!

I've also heard that those who come second in competitions apparently usually feel worse than those who come third. This is because they were a whisker away from being first. Whereas those who come third are usually happy to be placed at all!

So at the end of the day, it's all relative. As with all things, work out what does it for you. If you love to pre pave, plan and prepare then hold your expectations. If you want to be more easy about it, or better yet- have general expectations of well being, goodness and fun, then do that!

Experiment and work out what makes you happy. There are a million ways to joy, just pick that which is right for you.

All is well!

Happy expect-ing!!!

Lots of love, Nick Xxx

A bit o Belinda and psychology remix in the title there!

I have just started reading 'Misbehaving' by Richard Thaler- it's quite a fascinating amalgamation of economics and psychology (which is really interesting as the material finds me revisiting stuff I studied over a decade ago in my Psychology degree!). It basically states that people don't generally behave inline with absolute economic maximisation. For example- it feels worse to lose £5 if you had £10 in your wallet than it would to lose £5 if you had £1,000 in your wallet. It's the same amount i.e. £5, but the psychological weighting is completely shifted!

It's all about perspective! It actually ties quite nicely in with this Law Of Attraction work albeit slightly differently. Both schools encourage you to not dwell negatively on the past. Something along the lines of 'I should really stay in this horrible job/relationship/study because I've already spent 10 years and a lot of money invested in this...' This is what psychologists call 'sunk loss' theory- because you've expended a lot of resources on something in the past- you feel that you should continue, although that really makes no rational sense!

Now, that's not to say you should just run away and ditch everything just because you're unhappy with it. But from the LOA perspective, it's more to change how you view it. So we would encourage you to make peace with where you are, look for something, anything to appreciate within that situation and then either stay or go. Let the law bring the best of that situation to you or a new, better circumstance. Just set your tone first!

It makes no economical or vibrational sense to feel bad about what's been- Abe say regret is the most wasteful of emotions because it's not anything you can change. Not easy, especially for us introverts (what about that thing I feel guilty about that I did 10 years ago?!). But that is the goal!

Try to feel as good as you can whenever you stand. Let go of your old ties, your present ties and your future ties. Do your best to feel free- and you are completely free because you can choose the thoughts you think and the feelings you feel!

All is well. Just chill!

Happy sunk-ing!!!

Lots of love, Nick Xxx

Violent computer games increase your levels of violence!!! Shock horror!!! Xxx

Well actually the jury is somewhat divided on that. But some psychological studies have shown that this is the case. Anyhoo, that's not really the point I wish to make.

It just is rather logical that if you spend your time surrounded and focused on a certain way of being, then you'd be likely to act and respond in ways which are in alignment with this.

In psychological testing, they have procedures called 'primers'- preliminary tasks, for example, if you wish to see if the reaction of someone to violence is greater after playing aggressive games, then the task would get them to participate for a measure able time doing such activities.

So, in relation to this work, it follows that the more positive things you surround yourself with, the more likely you're going to line up with positive things. Both in a vibrational sense but also in a very practical sense. If someone bumps into you by accident, you're more likely to let it go, give them the benefit of the doubt.

So that's the encouragement. Do more positive things- listen to uplifting clips, repeat inspiring affirmations, read more wonderful literature. Prime yourself for goodness and wellness, abundance, peacefulness and all the things that help you live a more good feeling life!

The most you do, the more you'll draw to you and the more you'll want to do!

Happy prime-ing!!!

All is well!!!

I was in Brussels watching Amaluna by the Cirque Du Soleil and it was hold-your-breath-taking!!! The work that goes into that is tremendous, it really is!

From a viewer's perspective it can be easy to judge and think 'like that, didn't like that, that's not impressive.' And to some degree, 'oh that doesn't look too hard!' But I can only imagine the years and years spent training to be able to achieve the feats that they did.

Same in life- whether it's celebrities, singers, spiritual teachers, it can be easy to judge and dismiss their skills and talents or just think 'Oh well, they have it easy!' But odds are, a lot of work, time and life experience goes into making them look effortless.

In Justin Timberlake's Masterclass with Oprah, I believe someone said to him something like 'I hate you, it's so easy what you do!' To which he thought 'OMG, it is like the hardest thing to do, it's just with all the training and hard work, it's that which makes it looks effortless!

So, you never really know what's going on with someone, so don't be so quick to judge or dismiss them. Just appreciate all that goes on. Have a bit of empathy for your fellow human!

There is so much to appreciate everywhere you look!

All is well!

Happy cirque-ing!!!

OMG!!! A black cat crossed my path... And other superstitions!!! Xxx

I was buzzing high from my Liverpool group the other day, on my way home in the relative pitch black after my midnight ish train. When I saw a black cat just to right of me... As if on cue, it walked straight across my path! OMG! That's meant to be a bad thing right? Anyhoo, thankfully, touch wood, nothing has happened haha!

It's interesting how we can be so quick to attribute things to outside of us, lucky charms, prayer beads, the number 13 etc. Over time, some of us have absorbed these beliefs that if certain events occur, then we should expect good or bad things to happen.

Yet this makes no sense! It really does all come down to how we view the situation. (Or at least that's what I'd like to believe!). Most people aren't fond of the number '13'- numerous hotels, buildings and cruise ships go so far as to not feature floor number '13' (don't even get me started on Asia lol). But funnily enough, one of my friends' favourite number is '13' so he will actively seek out clothes and stuff with the number '13' emblazoned upon it!

So it just goes to show, as with all of life, that what you believe will dictate how you interact with things. Which will in turn affect the way you live your life.

Is your belief serving you? If yes, then milk it. If not, seek to change it, it just takes a bit of work!

Life is always working for you!!!

Happy cat-ting!!!

Apple or Samsung is the general bone of contention in the phone world. I have to say that I fall on the side of Apple. I was sooo anti Apple for the longest time (their Macs take a bit of getting used to!). But once I had got comfortable with them, I was really impressed at how it was all done and the usability of it.

Looking into the life of Steve Jobs and the whole process behind the products is absolutely incredible. The amount of care, time and attention to detail is incredible- I believe there was a lot of agony over the design of the box and chipboard- parts that the customer wouldn't even really pay much heed to!

Fast forward many decades and they have become the most valuable company on the planet- quite an achievement! Talk about keeping the faith and the dream.

Recently, Apple has started to fall out of favour slightly, the share price has dipped and a number of unflattering memes crop up over their products. However, you can't deny their desire to push things forward. I watched the unveiling event (my goodness- only they could make such a fuss over some new products and have you seen the queue over the years to be the first to buy their phones?! Incredible!). Their new phone seems to be breaking sales records at the moment...

The features and improvements to their line of i-goods was remarkable! Whether you thought they were revolutionary or a load of poop, I had to respect the amount of work that went into it. Moving the boundaries to try to slicken the users experience.

I read an interview with Jonathan Ives (the design guy) and he was speaking about the Apple Watch and how the luxury brand companies they are partnering with have the same ethos- the small but pertinent facets to the products. Quite mind blowing!

So, if you can, in your own way, always seek to go beyond. To expand and grow. Now by the very nature of who you are, these will happen naturally, just by being in the world and a conscious creator. But it's always nice to focus! The more I do, the more I find I want to do and it comes from that place of inspiration. It's exciting, it's thrilling, it's what calls us forth.

So just love your life! It's what you have now!

Happy expand-ing!!!

Stretch those mental muscles and physical muscles!!! Or at least it's good to know what to do when it goes funky!!! Xxx

24/9/2015

So, I've had back issues since a teen, funky spine and all that shizzle. Anyhoo, it's pretty fine these days. However, it can flare up from time to time! With a relatively sedentary life of desk work and group work, there isn't much running and jumping around.

Having learned Pilates when I was younger (amazing for the back and 6 pack!)- it was created by Joseph Pilates who had a terrible physical condition and was then originally used to condition dancers. I've got a decent knowledge of how to stretch and work it, if my muscles get sticky.

It made me think of our mental muscles and how often we can dip in and out of this work to raise our vibration. Some use it when they are in need, others in desperation and others make it a daily practise.

I think more important than doing it regularly, is at least having your tools in place- your lists of positive aspects, visualisation techniques, meditations etc, so you have something to reach for when things go awry. Obviously daily 'stretches' are always advisable but this may not always be easy for you to do!

So, that's what we do in the groups, a myriad of techniques to help you shake and shuffle, stretch and seamlessly flow. Some will work for you, others probably not. But just keep trying and seeing how it goes!

Life is always working out for you!!!

Happy stretch-ing!!!

WOWWWW! OMG loved it soooo much! What a powerful, amazing group! Did you notice- it stopped raining afterwards too, woo! Thank you to the wise, loving, supportive souls who came along. It really was a fantastic master mind session!!! Also, for braving the rain- it can be very easy to think 'screw that, I'm going home!'

I always feel like flying after being with you and tonight was certainly no exception!

Some wise points covered:

- Stuff is cool, but ya don't need it to be happy! Going off 'the grid' can be empowering because it frees you to be free! Reach for the feeling of what you want and the basis of it and you'll get there so much faster!

- How do you allow big-ness in?! First, appreciate what you do and how far you've come! There are so many things that you've done which others would consider impossible. Take stock of your brilliance! Also start to train yourself to make that 'big' thing, your next logical step. Visualise, plan, day dream, speak to other people living it, whatever it takes to get your consciousness up to speed in a FUN way (operative word being 'FUN'!)

- Just love for loves sake! Send the people love and whatever they do is none of your business! But usually they will love you! Because you are sending that vibration out! Duh!?!

Wonderful stories of finding partners, world travel, 15 min healings! It is all so inspiring!

Go forth and be happy dear ones!

You're doing amazingly well!!!

Happy rain-ing!!!

All my love, Nick Xxx

I was listening to Lorne Michaels' Masterclass interview with Oprah. Saturday Night Live seems to be a national institution in the USA! Comedy at its finest. Oprah was commenting about how she did it once and the only 6 day to prepare a show schedule just blew her mind!

Lorne was commenting on how the show comes together. They write, rehearse and practise, up to the last minute and whatever happens it has to go out live. He was saying how it's just something magical, something extraordinary when it's just about to go live. People come up with material they wouldn't normally, they focus in a completely different way.

It's that rush of life, that adrenaline kick which gets you to focus in a sharper way that you wouldn't normally. Abraham says that Esther declares that she thrives in a crisis. This is because it causes her to focus in ways she usually wouldn't.

Now, we definitely wouldn't recommend you live your life in continuous stress/last minute mode (as fun as that may be!). But it just goes to show the power of clarity, that mental focus can extract things from you things you might not normally think of.

All solutions and possibilities are there for you, hovering in the vibrational ethers. It's just- are you a match to the problem or solution? When you become solution focused, you see and draw to you, things which are a match to that.

So take it easy, breathe, relax and focus. The answers are out there...

All is well!

Happy focus-ing!!!

As always, thank you so much to all the amazing, wisdom, fabulous, brilliant, beautiful beings who came along tonight! I just love it so much!

On a side note the majority of New Street station is renovated and open, it is lovely and shiny and fabulous!

What I just love about these groups is that if anyone is going through contrast, or has a question about anything, everyone just (metaphorically) runs round with love and advice. To be surrounded with supportive, loving people is so valuable, especially if you're new or nervous or beginning or even if you're more advanced! Love it!

Some wonderful points today:

- Be lazy! Do less and less, (kinda) or at least do more things you enjoy and love to do. There's only so much impact action can take, at some point you'll need to work on your vibrational well being- we just want to happen sooner rather than later!

- There are so many mediations, affirmations, teachers and good stuff out there. Just go searching! You'll know if it's good if it resonates, attend groups, look at YouTube, there's so much goodness out there!

- Release and surrender! Let go and flow, allow things to come to you. Try not to try too hard. When you're in the flow it doesn't feel like work (though to others it might look like it!). When you're in the flow, all good things lie ahead!

Relax and vibe high! All is so very well!

Thank you all so much for your brilliance and love Birmingham! Y'all rock!

Happy New Street-ing!!!

Lots of love, Nick Xxx

You are constant working it, keep at it and you will develop that fine tuned ear!!! Lovin the Cloud Atlas soundtrack!!! Xxx

20/9/2015

I absolutely love the movie Cloud Atlas (Wachowski-Matrix directors). It was such a fascinating story behind the creation. I believe it is or was, the most expensive independent film made, they had such trouble getting it off the ground! On a side note, when people were giving up, Tom Hanks-man of alignment- pulled everyone together and kept them focused.

Anyhoo, as they were on such a limited budget, co-director Tom Twyker (pronounced Tick-Ver), composed the soundtrack for the movie! OMG, how amazing is that?! He wrote the music before filming, (as opposed to making the film then composing the music), the Wachowskis loved it so much, they vowed to do the same with their productions!

It really is a most beautiful soundtrack! A number of tracks are quite similar (as is usual with film music, a lot of motifs reappear, albeit somewhat modified), so when I first got it, I just chose a single track which I liked as they were 'all the same' to me. However after a lot of listens, I really heard the relatively subtle differences between the tracks and now after tons and tons of listens, I really can!

It's like that with life and this work, you are constantly working at knowing yourself, what works for you, what doesn't, what pushes a button, why you act, believe and react in the way you do. And you'll always come across things which you never knew or heard before.

Life is this constant unfolding of the amazingness that is you! It is never ending, you'll never get it done and you cannot get it wrong. Just try to become more and more conscious as to who you are, what makes you happy and how best you can serve yourself.

It takes many, many listens to the music that is your life!

All is well, no matter what! You are perfection!

Happy soundtrack-ing!!!

Lots of love, Nick Xxx

Wow!!! Thank you all so much for a most powerful session! We learned and connected and took things to new levels! All so wonderful!

Kristina covered opening our hearts and allowing abundance in. We started with the 'man (or woman) in the mirror.' Stating 3 things we loved about ourselves and sharing that with as many people in the group.

We then went round and shared things that we loved, our passion and what we enjoyed. Watch people light up when they are talking and doing things that they love.

We then split into pairs and one asked repeatedly 'Who are you?', and in a separate exercise 'What do you want?' A lot of people went very deep with this exercise. With some realising that they had similar answers to both questions, some looked at the different roles that they played in their life.

Nina then led an inner child meditation. Taking us back to when we were just coming into the world, then a few years later, looking at our childhood. It's so important to love and cherish and send well being to our inner child. No matter what happened, it's imperative to love all of who you are, if you had a great childhood or not.

Nina then asked us to identify any patterns we saw in our life. Patterns and automatic reactions we have which don't serve us. Being able flip it and know we can react differently going forward. This is just one way of dealing with things which don't serve us.

Gunita led a tribute to Wayne Dyer- covering some points which she felt has influenced her life.

She then asked us to go inwards and say to ourselves 'I deserve inner peace and I accept it now.' To repeat it and to see what came up-

1/ What feelings came up for us?
2/ How does your body feel?
3/ Does it feel true, or do you still feel unworthy?

Your thankful list. List all the things you are thankful for. This is such an important daily practise.

Thank you all so much for a most wonderful afternoon!!!

Happy HYLE-ing!!!

Lots of love, Nick Xxx

Nutritional fads- fact or fiction, only you can know for you!!! Xxx

I have been on a health kick for quite a while now and I am constantly developing a fine tuned-ness for what works well for my body. For me at least, I defo feel fresher without gluten, dairy or sugar (though I do love di cake!). Also a wonderful green smoothie from my trusty Nutribullet (that which apparently HRH Kate uses too!), clears my body and mind.

There are so many theories about this, that and the other, it can be nigh impossible to know the 'truth.' I've watched a few documentaries online and the various tests they do on such foods and supplements and some stuff which is reputed to work wonders for the body, have been completely poo-pooh'd by the science people.

I like to keep an open mind and try things for myself and see how I react. It's definitely a work in progress, especially as I have sensitive skin and digestive system, and slowly but surely I am working out what works for me- some is inline with what I've read online, other things just don't seem to agree with me.

I am noticing though that as I work with the root cause (digestion) that the surface issues (skin issues) are much better.

This is the same with you and your vibration! There are so many theories and teachers teaching their techniques (some which seem diametrically opposed yet both yield incredible results!), that how can you really know what works unless you give it a shot?

Make sure it fits your basic criteria (whatever that is for you), it should feel resonant and perhaps have the results you are looking for which have been achieved by others (though this can be a little tricky as everyone is different!). Once you're happy, then delve into it. For me, I need an easy going, supportive teacher who can break things down and be patient- cos I can sure come at it different! Give it your best shot- you'll never know unless you truly try.

If it doesn't work, then maybe it's not for you, or maybe it's not the right time. But if it goes well, holy moly! It could change your life for the complete better.

Get in there, mix it up! That is what life is about!!!

Life is supposed to be fun!!!

Happy fact-ing!!!

Ms. Kidman is truly appreciative, she doesn't even notice the phones or late comers... Unlike Mr. Benedict... Xxx

17/9/2015

There was much ado about Mr. Cumberbatch being in the theatre version of Hamlet. I think he implored people to not use their phone during the performance (I think in the sense of filming him as opposed to taking calls and chatting with loved ones!). But anyhoo, when you're trying to control such crowds it is probably nigh impossible. Much like Beyoncé's tremendous crash down the stairs when she did a live rendition of 'Ring The Alarm', she begged the audience to not YouTube it- I don't think that worked out very well...

I read online that Nicole Kidman who was in her own live show had a completely different perception (see photo).

She is reported to have said that there's much to appreciate because people have paid a lot of money to see the play she's in, they've taken the transport to travel all the way to the theatre. She just wants to give people a good show!

She didn't notice any bad behaviour. And when she was informed there were noisy late comers, she replied 'I didn't even hear it.'

So it goes to show, that it really depends on where you're putting your focus!

Not at all to disparage Benedict (although not quite yet a 'Cumberb*tch' I did love his Oscar worthy performance in The Imitation Game!), and I can only imagine how disruptive fans with phones could be, however, he probably would've had a much more aligned time if he had let that go and focused on the much that there was to appreciate. The wonderful opportunity to perform for a live audience, an incredibly popular show, people eager and wanting very much to see him. So much greatness there!

The same goes with you and your life situations. There is so much to find wonderful at any point in time, but if you're trying to control the uncontrollable (i.e. anyone outside of yourself) you'll be in for a rough show.

Focus on you, your 'performance' and all the goodies there are in your vicinity and you too could be like 'Hindi Sad Diamonds' Moulin Rouge Nicole!!!

All is fun!!!

Happy theatre-ing!!!

Wowwwww!!! As always, a most powerful, fun, great group! We had our very first group hi-five! So much fun, laughter, wisdom and great stories. Love it all!

Some wonderful points covered:

- Love and gratitude! Two important points for life! With these you can't go far wrong, focus and allow more of these in and your vibration will rise and rise!

- Keep an eye out for the magic! There are so many things lining up for you. Once you get into alignment then you'll flow, things, places, circumstances will line up for you with the most fun and ease!

- Take time for you. Whatever that means, make sure you're well taken care of, you're having fun, you're following your passion. This is vital to your mental, spiritual, physical well being. And when your cup overfloweth you can be of benefit to those who are lucky to know you!

- Follow your intuition and gut. Tune into what calls you forward. As Steve Jobs said- they somehow already know what's set up for you. And again, life flows so much more greatly for you.

As always, thanks so much for a fun, light, amazing group!

All is so very well!

Keep laugh-ing!!!

Now, more than ever (but isn't it always that way?!) it has never been easier to be who you are and express yourself in as many ways as possible.

Yes, yes, yes, I do realise that there is war, abuse, displacement etc going on all round the world (but again, hasn't it always been this way?!).

But at the touch of your fingertips you can connect with loved ones across the world (and usually for free!). It has never been easier to create and donate to causes and projects which are near and dear to your heart (crowd funding), you can petition and protest online, you can share an image and could affect global change (like that picture of the Syrian child). Wow! There is so much to appreciate in this time space reality.

If you're weird like us lol, you can seek out and be with those of like mind. Introverts revel! Gluten, dairy, sugar free people revel! How incredible!

I downloaded the GBK (Gourmet Burger Kitchen) app and how amazing, easy and quick it is to order food. Especially as I'm gluten free, sauce free and on and on lol. So it can be really awkward to reel off these long lists of burger amendments to the poor waitress (and I really don't like to trouble people, introvert that I am!). So the app is sheer perfection. With a few touches to the screen, you can customise your burger, tell them the time you'd like to collect it and pow! Your burger is ready to go. How freaking amazing is that?!

We really do live in a wondrous age, it's just time for you to appreciate it. There will always be things wanted and unwanted, it's up to you however, as to what you focus on.

Enjoy it all! Life is good!

Happy burger-ing!!!

WOWWWWWSAAAAAA!!! SWEET LORD!!! OH MY GOODNESS, a real powerhouse room of people rockin it in London tonight!!! Xxx

WOWWWWWSAAAAAA!!! SWEET LORD!!! OH MY GOODNESS, a real powerhouse room of people rockin it in London tonight!!! Truly amazing! A great mix of newbies and oldbies- all so smart, so kind, so leading edge! It truly was the most powerful way to spend an evening!

We also got to see a beautiful rainbow just before the group, which was a lovely indication of alignment (see pic- I just caught the tail end of it before it disappeared into the sunny evening!).

I can't even begin to capture the amazingness of the stories and sharings and wisdoms tonight, it was so plentiful! But here's a few points:

- It's all about the FUN!!! Imagining how much money you'll enjoy, your relationship, your empire and all that stuff is FUN! Whether it happens in 'reality' or just in your head, matters not- all that matters is the great feelings it generates.

- Thoughts are manifestations too! Whilst the physical stuff is good and well (and it really is!). Thinking a good thought and feeling a good feeling is a manifestation too. So congratulate yourself on the smallest change in your mind. Even if it's just being aware- that is so key!

- When you're dealing with someone with issues it can go one of two ways: either they can drag you down and you can get sucked into their energy OR they will raise to your level. If you're strong and focused and powerful, you can uplift from your place of strength.

My mind is blown I can't even remember anymore lol.

Thank you all so much for helping us grow from strength to strength. 6th Year Anniversary next time! Let's continue rocking this sh*t! Thank you all!

All is so well and getting wayyyy better!!!

Happy London-ing!!!

Yes my dear- your boss is terrible but can you offer anything else??? Xxx

I was on the train to a wonderful gong bath a little while ago and there was a lady sat a few rows away. She was on the phone to a sympathetic friend or a work colleague and for what felt like an eternity was going on and on about how mean and horrible her boss was!

The strength of conviction was tremendous. It got me thinking... Yes, her boss might really be a big ole beatch and she may be completely correct in her assessment but the thing is, when you offer such a strong vibration about something, then it is nigh impossible for the Universe to give you anything but that. And even if it did, you probably would miss it.

Obviously she wasn't aware of this wonderful woo-woo-ness so she'll probably continue as is. But for you dear one, it is a message to just be conscious of what you're offering.

It's easy to look at a horrible situation you're living and it may consume you and be all you can talk and focus on. But just be aware that if you can change your story, either by re writing it, by focusing upon the positive aspects of it or even just distracting yourself from it. Then you have the power to positively influence it.

When you've set your tone purely and your vibration is of a certain pitch, then the Universe will match it with people, places and circumstances which match it.

I believe Susan Jeffers recommended going a week without complaining at all- you may find yourself having a very quiet week lol. Also, record yourself in a phone conversation and play it back- what words do you use, which circumstances do you talk about? In this day and age you could even review your whatsapp, Facebook, emails etc. What continues to crop up?

All this does is increase your self awareness to what you're saying, doing and most importantly, feeling.

If you like what you're generating, keep on doing it! If not, then change it. You're wise enough to do so now.

All is well!

Happy phone-ing!!!

It is no one's job to be perfect for no one!!! (That includes Wayne, Esther, Jerry and whoever you want to pedestal lol!!!) Xxx

It can be natural to idolise those big, wonderful people such as: Beyoncé, Branson, Esther, Jerry, Wayne Dyer, Louise Hay and so on... Especially when they have done incredible life changing work which has positively impacted millions. But I think it's really important to remember that they are all human and fallible, so to hold them to any standards of perfection is not really encouraged!

With the recent passing of Wayne Dyer, I saw some posts about his leukaemia etc. His family were keen to state that this wasn't the cause of his death and whilst it was lovely for the information I think for those who needed some reassurance or whatever, that's barking up the wrong tree.

Same with the passing of Jerry Hicks.

I think we all were a little surprised as we expected him to live til past 100 and to be vibrant and vital until his last day but who knows what really went on in his vibration. No one, not even Esther could really really know, so to use that situation to base your belief upon whatever it is you use to base your belief upon is going to be tricky!

You've got those sceptics who would use that type of occurrence to not believe in what that teacher is offering- but it's likely that nothing would convince them otherwise. In other words, if you're not going to believe in that school of thought, nothing that could happen would change your mind.

Then you've got those who, for example, had serious doubt about the law of attraction when Jerry transitioned. If he couldn't be perfect til the end, then surely it must mean this is a load of tosh?! And that may be the case! But who can really know...

What we want for you is to find that which works for you. So you're not relying on anyone else to have to be flawless in order to be proof for you. It is no one's job to be perfect for anyone else. Though we do try! As mothers, fathers, partners, bosses, teachers etc, it can be tempting to be infallible, but that's a tiring job! And you can't be good enough for all people in all ways.

On one of the Abe clips someone said they weren't comfortable about Esther and Jerry charging the prices they did for a workshop. Abraham pointed out that all the info was in their book for a few dollars. But also, that Esther and Jerry would be in for a world of hurt if they listened to others- should they be examples of unlimited abundance? Or should they be poor and give it all away?! Everyone wants different things from you at different times.

I know for me that life is better than it has ever been with this work. Is it 100% perfect?! Hell no! I gots tons of things that bug me, old and new issues and all sorts but hey, that's life!

So the bottom line is that everyone is doing their best and it's not really fair to hold others to impossible standards. Instead work out what works for you by experiencing, testing and trying it out. When you've found your winning formula, live it and make the most of it. And then you'll be the guru from which everyone else expects perfection haha!

Happy de-pedestal-ing!!!

The other day I had spent quite a decent amount on food and cake and other bits and pieces and a little niggle of lack hit me- should I be spending so much on frivolousness?! But then I caught myself quickly in that feeling of less than and thought of what way to flip it.

I made a concerted effort to channel it into an uplifting abundant way. I was determined to buy a copy of the Big Issue. There's always a lovely unassuming Big Issue seller on my way to the station. He just stands there very sweetly, unimposing  with his magazines. What I like about the Big Issue is that it helps those who want to help themselves. The homeless vendor gets the magazines from the organisation for something like £1.25 and the cover price is £2.50, so they keep the rest. A great way to support each other.

So I was determined to track him down and buy a copy, I don't usually use cash  on me (I get airmiles so I always use my credit card lol). So I specially took a fiver out from the bank. Incidentally I didn't see him that day but I managed to catch him today and it was lovely. That feeling of sharing the abundance was priceless. It highlighted to me how important it is to take action from an aligning basis.

That's what we recommend. Work from a place of 'I have so much, I just love to share.' It helps multiply that feeling of abundance. But you have to make sure it's from a well intentioned place. If you're really struggling financially, then begrudgingly giving away your last penny isn't really going to cut it vibrationally lol.

Whatever you do, work from a basis of feeling good and wanting to feel better. Try as little as you can to operate from a place of resentment or lack. And when you've truly shifted your vibration then only good can come.

Happy share-ing!!!

Oops I did it again... I let my focus run away to the rhythm of the breath!!! Xxx

A little while ago I wrote about how when my peoples were talking about the radio my attention got stuck there. Well, I did it again...

I was listening to Beyonce's VMA 2014 mega performance. I had to cleanse myself of the VMAs 2015 lol, now that was a big ole hot mess (and not in a good way!).

I somehow suddenly honed in on her breaths before she sang each line, as it was a live performance, they were a teensy bit more prominent! But once I heard them I couldn't stop and it got a bit annoyingly distracting! And the more I tried to take my attention of it, the more I heard the snatches of breath.

It really showed me the more you focus on something the bigger it gets. It's like Abe says 'And then you try to stop thinking about that thing you're trying to stop thinking about, but you're still thinking about it!'

So sometimes, when an issue just keeps going round and round in your head, instead of trying to deactivate it, activate something else. Move your attention onto something completely different. 'Change the state' as I've heard is so important to hypnosis. This is when you introduce a tool I recommend- distraction, an activity which gets your mind off it completely. Movies, music (though not quite in this case!), art, cooking etc all are great deliberate tools you can apply to help raise your vibration.

So there you go! You're aware of your awareness. Now you can change it!

Happy VMA-ing!!!

How interesting! I was talking to a colleague of mine and they were telling me that someone they had spoken to was experiencing issues- nothing new there...

But what struck me most was something I don't think I've heard before, or at least much! They mentioned how they had the most wonderful childhood, even teenagehood  thanks to their parents, but the shiz hit the fan when they were an adult. Because they had been so happy and well beinged in school and all those years growing up, it was quite a shock when they experienced the contrast of life when they were an adult- it really knocked them down because they had no idea how to deal with it!

Isn't that fascinating?! Most all of us go round at some point (or all the time!) lamenting about what we went through as children at school or with our parents and how tough it was (and it may very well have been!). But it all has value and has helped us be who we are. And in turn made us stronger.

I'm sure a lot of us wished we had purely happy childhoods but you know what- the grass ain't always greener. We are who we are and that is magnificent!

All is so very well. Be happy with who yo'self and what you've experienced. It's all part and parcel of what makes the individualness that is you! And you are wonderful!

It's all good!

Happy you-ing!!!

Thank you soooo much Brighton for a most amazing evening!!! Love love love ya!!!!!! Xxx

I am LOVIN IT!!! Thank you so much Brighton for a fun, fun, fun, warm, sunny evening! As always, a most beautiful fun workshop, surrounded with a most beautiful, fun group of people ever! Love, love, love it!

One of the most important things I just love about being here is the connection with other people who do get it and who want to get it. It's always so leading edge!

Tonight we did:

- The fun spending game! List a variety of amounts of money and vibrationally spend it: £5, £100, £1,000, £100,000,000 etc... What comes up for you? Do you spend fun and easily, do you feel guilty, do you share it? Do some reflection within yourself and identify what works for you and what doesn't. Use this to find working points as vibrational indicators to see where you can improve things.

- Beliefs! A belief is a thought you can keep thinking. Make a list of beliefs that do and don't work for you, that you hold deeply. What would like to change? The thing with beliefs is- it suits your energy so much more if you act in alignment with your them. E.g. If you don't like your job, then you either have to make the best of it, or leave and be happy. It kinda messes up your energy to stay and resent it, or to leave but feel fearful and guilty. You want all your beliefs to be in alignment with all of them.

- Your most perfect...date/job/business etc... Write in as much good feeling detail (it can be written in the past/present/future) about a scenario you would like to experience. Make it fun and as specific as is enjoyable- that's the key!

Finally- a review of this year. List all the wonderful things you've achieved this year with regards to all or any of the following: Relationships/Abundance/Health/Career. Use your diaries, whatsapp, phones to help jog you memory! Congratulate yourself on all the things you've done! You are doing so well!

Thank you my lovelies, a most magnificent evening as always!!!

Love you all so much!!!

Happy Brighton-ing!!!

Everything has value!!! Even, or rather especially, entertainments!!! Xxx

If I recall correctly, Jerry Hicks has always been a learner and uplifter in one way or another and he asked Abe what was the value of him being in a circus show (he was a performer/athlete back in the day!). They replied to him that it was a wonderful method of distraction for those in the audience, to provide entertainment is a powerful tool of upliftment.

I remember years and years ago, I was in an am-dram version of Jesus Christ Superstar. That was fun and a learning thing for sure. But appearing on stage never felt quite satisfying for me (though that was years ago and now my purpose would be to have more fun). I always felt like I could be doing more. I have luckily since let that go, because I could never help enough or do enough charity work or whatever it was I did when I was younger to 'feel complete' or 'save the world.'

But when I made my main focus to really make sure that I'm enjoying what I do, then it definitely feels brilliant!

I love entertainments- whether it's a movie, music, shows etc... I really love being drawn into the moment and being completely absorbed into it. I love what I call 'movie meditations,' which is when I immerse myself into a great film, paying attention and listening to every word that is said and all the action going on.

Everyone has their own calling, if that's art, business, technology, food, whatever but not everyone follows their internal guidance. That is what we want for you. To do more of what you want to do in life. You'll not only be enjoying it, you'll be uplifting and inspiring to those around you and that can only be a good thing.

Relax and have fun!!!

Happy distract-ing!!!

Lots of love, Nick Xxx

Take your first step towards whatever you want... Be brave, you can do it!!! Xxx

A journey of a gagillon miles begins with a single step- too right!!! There is a fine line between charging into something when you're/it's not vibrationally ready. But on the same note, I think we can end up talking ourselves out of things we really want to do because of fear.

We sometimes manage to terrorise ourselves into not trying something because we'll be rubbish at it, or why should we do something because what value can we possible add, when so many people out there are better than us at it?!

Sometimes you'll just have to feel the fear and do it anyway! One of Susan Jeffers' fear truths, is that we'll always feel fear in new territory. The key isn't to use this to disable us, but to help realise that it's normal. What we have to do is support ourselves enough to try in the first place.

It's also is important to find a warm, encouraging environment, because if you're feeling tentative about being in a new space and some twit criticises you, it can put you off for life! Louise Hay was told by a dance teacher when she was younger, that she couldn't/shouldn't dance, so guess what?! She didn't! And Louise carried that phobia up until her older age.

Susan Cain, queen of introverts talks of her 'year of speaking dangerously.' She pushed herself out there and did as much public speaking as she could. One school in NYC was wonderful. The first week, you just had to stand, say your name and that was it. Then week by week you did a little more and were encouraged by all. Toastmasters are an internationally group renowned for helping people with their public speaking- just find a group which resonates.

And odds are, once you've got over that initial fear of doing something for the first time, you'll wanna do more! How wonderful!

In this wonderful age of choice, diversity and info at your fingertips, you can find like minded people quite easily. And if not, set something up yourself!

Have fun and love yourself!!!

Happy brave-ing!!!
