Talent, hard work, skill and such which are all important qualities to have in this life but it's also about good old fashioned getting on with people- being kind, professional and open to learning. It's really difficult to work with someone who's obstinate- there are a number of tyrannical people who've been 'successful' but it just makes for a nicer experience for everyone involved if there's some fun and positivity around it.

If you're nice and do your job with a high degree of positivity, then people are going to want to be surrounded by you all the time because you help bring them into alignment and everyone wants that!

Those of us involved in this positive thinking work are very likely to be highly sensitive. Taking the energy on other people can be really draining. We can overthink comments, things we said which could’ve been misinterpreted or that which is said to us which we can read too much into.

I really do believe you have to develop a thick skin towards criticisms otherwise you’ll likely get dragged down and for no good reason. You can’t control what anyone says or does, all you can control is how you react.

I was running a group and some of the members were sharing some of their achievements these past few months and a number of them were firsts- their first trip on their own, classes, groups, their first divorce! It gets better and easier but taking that first step can be the hardest. Throwing yourself into the unknown for the first time, can be one of the most terrifying things but once you’ve done it, it gets so much easier.

The fear never goes away but how you deal with it does. You can’t let it stop you from getting out there and living your life. You just have to mix it up and do you. Enjoy it all.

I loved loved the World Of Hans Zimmer concert I saw. What I love about Hans’ concerts is that he draws the best across the world. There are no boundaries, no borders, a wonderful mix of ages, genders, colours and creeds- whoever plays the best is the main criteria. It truly is a phenomenal sight to see.

I’m not sure about the separatist culture across the world. When we join together, we all benefit! Be loving and accepting of your fellow man, set your tone and allow the Law Of Attraction to bring to you that which is a match. Anything you don’t want, just turn your attention away from it. Don’t fight against it!

One thing I’ve learned from DJing is that you’re not going to please all the people all the time! When you’ve got a room full of 450 people, they’re all going to want something differently musically. You just have to do your best and much like in life- let the chips fall where they may.

Go through life doing the best you can, no one can ask anymore. Be open to learning but stay aligned with you and you. That’s the most important thing. People and things come and go but your relationship with you is the most important.

As with most customer care, being nice to the person who’s serving you will most likely get them onside and be able to help you. And as a DJ, I can tell you I’m more likely to want to assist someone by playing their tune (as long as it’s not too out there!), if you’re polite rather than criticising my playlist!

As Louise Hay said the Universe loves gratitude- if someone buys you a gift and you complain about it, odds are you’re not going to get them anything else! But if you thank them and declare how wonderful it all is- they’re most likely going to get you more goodies!

As part of my growth and maturity (boring or what ha!), I really do try to be conscious of how I react. It’s your thought process, reaction to the events in and around you that dictate how life will unfold for you. Be aware and conscious of your default reactions. If they serve you well and there’s no issues, then don’t change a thing. But if you they aren’t great feeling nor elicit a wanted response from life, then try changing it.

You are not bound to your childhood or the way you were raised. Just because you reacted in whatever way you did when you were growing up, does not mean you have to do the same now. It’s all about choice and being aware of how you would like to react.

Reach for more calm, zen and inner peace if you can. That is so much more powerful.

The magnificent Ariana Grande is running the charts around the world with all her releases. But it hasn’t all come easily, the attack on Manchester after her concert, left her understandably shocked and shaken. She has dedicated a lot of time and resources to support the city and has undergone a lot of reflection about it all.

But she’s come out stronger, more powerful and focused. You have to use the negative contrast of disasters, people’s hurtful opinions and all sorts to really come into alignment with who you really are. You can’t control anything outside of yourself. All you can do is control your reaction!!!

Family isn’t always the easiest for a good number of us and whilst it can be sad when we don’t all agree nor support each other, it doesn’t matter. We want to be loved and supported by those nearest and dearest to us but that’s really tricky because we are all different. We didn’t all come forth to this life to seek acceptance from one another, we came to learn how to be with ourselves.

That’s the most important thing ever- to know that you’re magnificent and worthy and loved, regardless of your external successes or how many people do or don’t love you. You must love you!

It’s quite easy to not really pursue our dreams because we talk ourselves out of it. We think we’re not good enough, aren’t skilled to a high degree or we don’t deserve it. But it doesn’t matter! What you need to do is come into alignment with your dream and not give a rip what anyone else thinks.

What matters is that you bring your unique talents to the table and you believe in you. Just work it as best you can and as much as you can. That’s what matters. Alignment not talent as such.
There’s so many people out there doing so incredibly well who aren’t the most talented and conversely, there’s so much talent out there who aren’t doing well. Just believe in you!

After a childhood of strong contrast and being treated poorly by her partners, Lady Gaga is killing it in box office and the stage. Fresh off her Oscar success, her box office gross from Vegas is rolling in and she is rolling it in! To the tune of over half a billion dollars for her overall touring things!

She definitely had her contrast and watching her Netflix documentary showed how painful touring was for her as she suffers from fibromyalgia. So I would imagine the Vegas gig provides her with a place that isn’t as exhausting as trekking from city to city across the world. A true win-win!

If there’s something that she’s taught us, it’s that it’s ok to be different and weird and funky. Just believe in yourself and trust in the bigger picture.

Watching those reality shows and having the expert panel of judges is always highly entertaining. Whilst they usually agree on the same things, there’ll be a number of times where they won’t. And it’s even more fun watching them get so passionate about it and duke it out.

It just goes to show that one mans pleasure is another woman’s poison- it’s all down to personal opinion and that’s exactly what it is- an opinion. Just because someone might not think who you are or what you’ve done is that great, don’t let it stop you from believing in yourself and going for your dream.

All that matters is that you’re in alignment with you and your dream! Don’t let anything stand in your way, just keep going and something has to shift somehow.

​At the beginning of Feb it was Chinese New Year- a lovely way to spend time with the family and having a delicious meal in Chinatown. It’s a good way to restart and refresh yourself. In and of itself, new years doesn’t really mean anything except what we attach to it.

We can treat it as a new way to start a hobby, a chance to let go of anything that doesn’t work for us and to allow the goodness in.

You can set some wonderful intentions and do your best to remind yourself what to focus on. A great way to be ease and flow about it all. Similarly, each morning, every moment could be a new way to start!

I loved the new year theatre sale- being able to see the city’s best shows at £10 or £20 has been a treat (seeing the stage is such a treat too haha!). It has really helped me be in the moment, one of my new year’s resolutions! I have to regularly remind myself to enjoy the spectacle right in front of my very eyes and to appreciate the magnificence that is.

There is so much to appreciate in the now! Especially if you’re at a special event, movie, meal with loved ones etc. So try not to focus on what’s wrong but what’s right with your life. It’s way better and will draw more to you!

​Ariana was being asked about her career and success and when they came upon the topic of awards, accolades and the upcoming Grammy show, she was adamant she really doesn’t care about it.

She was saying she loves to create music for the sake of it and that was her true passion, awards and stuff aren’t really a big deal for her. And guess what- she shortly won a Grammy afterwards (even after she boycotted the ceremony!).

When you do anything, try to make it for the experience, the fun, the joy and learning of it all and not the end goal. Obviously you can factor these things in but if you make it only about the end result, you’ll likely be wildly disappointed if it doesn’t happen. But if you can be happy along the way, then you can enjoy it all and the final result.

​It can be hard for us mere mortals to see how those at the top of their game- who have millions and millions in the bank, seemingly good relationships and incredibly successful career wise- could be anything but happy. But they are just as human as the rest of us- even more so perhaps.

I was watching the omnipresent Ariana Grande in an extended interview promoting her new album and she spoke about a lot of her issues- neediness, insecurity, not liking having to do all the press work for her job. And although she is at the pinnacle of the music, she seems just as scared and vulnerable as the rest of us!

So, you’re not alone, it’s all ok to be human. Just be easy about it and don’t be envious!

Whether it’s setting up a new group or playing a song in a club, you just never can be quite 100% sure of things are going to go. Maybe it’ll be loved by the masses or maybe it’ll just go down like a lead balloon, you just have to keep going and do it.

If you can make sure that you’re having fun along the way and in the process of it all, that’s all you can do. You can’t control the crowd, the reaction or anything, all you can do is put your best foot forward and hope for the best. Over time and the more you do things, you’ll start to develop a feel for things and how they might go, but even then, things can surprise you. Just keep enjoying it all along the way.

​When the team were discussing how to hack the mind of the subject they were musing over the purest form of inception. They were saying that the more powerful the issue, the greater the catharsis, hence this should be something to consider.

Real life is the same. The more powerful the contrast, the more powerful the solution. The worse the situation that you’ve been through, the better it will be when you clear it. The only thing is, you do need to lift off the vibration of the problem to allow the solution in.

You can’t focus on what’s wrong and let in what’s right, somehow, someway you need to lift your vibration then things can come to you. It just takes time, practise and focus.
