I was having a meditation tune in and it was downloaded to me that if something or someone is not in your life, it’s just that you’re at different frequencies and there ain’t no shame or blame in that. You have to trust that what’s in your life is supposed to be in your life and if it isn’t it’s just not the right time.

Set the emotional and vibrational basis that you want for yourself and let the Law Of Attraction do the rest. Don’t try to control and force things and people to be in it or leave. Instead focus on feeling as good as you can with as much love and kindness as you can. Be the loving being that you’re meant to be and let it all go!

Most of us are constantly bombarded with relationships to deal with- family, loved ones, co workers, friends etc and so if you’re feeling not great about a relationship, then if possible, hold fire until you’re in a better feeling space- which may mean just not thinking about it. And/or do your best to work it into a good mental place. This may require a lot of work but ultimately it’s well worth it.

Think about that one thing or one incident that you can offer a pure positive vibration on them. Make that your dominant vibration on them and try to hold it, no matter what their behaviour shows you.

It’s easy to focus on ‘what is’ and how they are behaving, but you want to make your viewpoint on them as loving and kind as possible. Not for their benefit but for yours!

I made a new friend a little while ago and we exchanged numbers and chatted and arranged to meet up. But when we met, they said very little and I thought ‘oh uh, do they think I’m dryness’ and ‘they’re very very quiet.’ Not sure what to make of it, or if I’d see them again, it was only after chatting to them online for a bit longer that I found out they were scared to communicate in English as they thought their level of the language was really bad. They felt far more comfortable writing online than they did speaking in person.

So, you just never really know what’s going on in someone else’s experience and why they are the way they are. You just have to give them the benefit of the doubt and see the best. It not only serves the situation but most of all your own vibration.

It stands to reason that those who find a way to do something will always find a way and those who won’t, well, won’t! Only for the fact that if you focus on the solution and let nothing deter you then somehow something has to shift. Whereas those who are problem focused remain in the vibration of the problem and find it hard to see beyond that. You can try and offer the solution(s), but they’ll give you a reason for why it won’t work, so there’s only so much assistance you can be to a naysayer.

Seek out those who are on the same wavelength as you. Who want to enjoy life and feel good and be happy. Who wish to get things done in this life, for the fun and enjoyment of it. Hang around those who help you feel better and who inspire you and who you can inspire. That’s co creation at its best!

If you pay close attention to what you and those around you are saying, you can get insight into how their life is going and in turn what they’re manifesting. One suggestion is to record yourself in a phone conversation and listen back to what you’re saying. You might be surprised by how much you complain (or not, as the case could be!).

Be mindful of what comes out of your mouth as it’s a reflection of what’s going on internally and that is what you’re attracting! Find those correlations with yourself and your co workers, friends and family. And be deliberate in where you turn your attention. Make how you are feeling the most important thing and let your verbalness reflect that!

It can be really easy to get caught up in the manifestation (or the lack thereof) of what we think we want. And it’s great to have those desires but the thing is- if you’re not enjoying the process but desperately trying to get your stuff, then you’re not having fun along the way and you don’t get what you want. But if you’re making the most of the trip and you get your stuff, then that really is the best of both worlds.

Let go of the outcome and trust that it’s all working out for you. The more you allow and relax, the more can come to you, the more receptive you are to all the good that’s out there. Just breathe!

Perspective, experience and contrast are wonderful things. They allow us to see the depth and breadth of experience and what’s possible in this life. I adore travelling around to see new places, experience different cultures and how things and people operate and to see what I do and don’t like and what I can appreciate about where I currently am.

There is a whole world out there to be experienced and to really get out into it and to make up your own mind. The news would have you believe there is danger at every corner you turn but for the most part, all is truly well. But it’s for you to create and live in the world you wish to.

I love knowing how things work and I was reading a travel article about how credit card payments work and it is rather more complex than one might think for what is usually a light tap of plastic to plastic!

When you enter your card ‘There’s a lot of stuff you can’t see,’ says a vice president of Visa. ‘There is so much happening,’ various numbers have to be volleyed back and forth between a number parties and the amount of security is mind boggling.

Similarly, much can be said of vibration and creation. The Universe is pulling infinite resources to create what we want but we get impatient and distrustful of the process. If we could relax and allow our good in, then things would flow much easier. Take a breath and feel good. You’d be surprised by how much relaxation can work! Chillout!

I was reading a beautiful post by a dear friend and fellow cruiser. Her intention was to laugh more. What a lovely desire for the day. I read this and made a mental note at the back of mind to do this. Watching a fun Ellen YouTube or Oprah laughing really gets me into my joy space.

I forgot about it completely and went about my day as usual. And I found myself laughing out loud a lot through the afternoon and evening. It was only well into the soir that I remembered that amusement was my wish du jour!

It wasn’t an intention I made in a huge way for myself but just turned my attention to it lightly. But it was lovely to see how easily and quickly it manifested!

A friend sent me one of those funny pictures. It must’ve been on Twitter or something similar and it was a woman saying ‘If only I could get a guy like this,’ below was a picture of Elon Musk. He replied ‘Hey’ and said ‘No.’ To which he replied ‘I am literally the guy in the picture.’

I thought that was hysterical. Obviously, I don’t know if the reaction was genuine or if any of it was real but it highlights something quite pivotal. We sometimes think we want something and when we get it, it turns out we don’t, or it’s not quite what we expect or it’s just too much effort.

So the moral of that story is that you need to be happy with who you are and where you are. We go so much of our lives thinking things would be better if only the desire would occur. But that is not usually the case. If you’re happy now you’ll be happy later, if you’re dissatisfied now, then odds are you’ll be dissatisfied later.

I was at work the other day and musing enjoying the feeling of freedom. For the most part, especially in this society, we are free to live how we choose. With not much holding us down or back you’re free to be!

Certain circumstances such as family, bills and such which can feel we are bound but that is a state of mind. In your thoughts and feelings you choose exactly what you want to go on. Yes, it might feel you’re a slave to circumstances and your subsequent reactions but you’re not! You can choose to focus on the good in a situation or you can see all that’s ‘wrong.’

The choice is yours!

I was at work the other and I had obviously slept well and eaten well as I was in a really fun, light, playful mood. I was making jokes with colleagues and bouncing about the place. Loads of fun chatter and repartee back and forth. It was a really nice place to be.

Now if I could go about recreating that consciously and deliberately, that would be a fine thing! We make far too much of this life. We take ourselves far too seriously in this life, we worry and stress so much, we lose perspective about how much we can enjoy this life.

So make the intention to play more, laugh more and just generally have more fun!

I had a wonderful retreat with a group of my London Abers- most of whom have been with me for years! It was a most phenomenal time ever. We had wonderful discussions, processes, meditations and clips. I even did my very first vision board- such fun!

It’s the being with good people that really aligned it for me. To be in a safe space where you can be you and to be positively focused- that is truly brilliant. I felt so calm, relaxed and aligned during and most definitely after it.

A wonderful emotional space to truly treasure! A huge thank you to everyone who came along.
Here’s to next year!

I saw a fun picture of two kids- one was as happy as Larry coming 3rd and the other was 1st but looked miserable. The caption was ‘happiness is a state of mind.’

It was just a fun silly picture but it did make quite a valid point. Joy is completely based on your perspective. You can come last in race and have the most fun and you can be first but be sad for whatever reason.

Studies have shown that those who get the silver medal feel more remorse because they came so close to winning outright, whereas those with a bronze medal are happy just to be acknowledged.

Appreciate your circumstances wherever you are. You could be rich and bored, you could be poverty and in joy. The choice is always yours! Make the best of where you are.

I was reading an interview with Constance Wu- the actress in Fresh Off The Boat and now, the wildly successful Crazy Rich Asians movie and she was talking about when she started off and she was having trouble finding work. Things shifted when she decided to bring something different to the auditions. She figured she’d trying being unique in some way.

She mused ‘That’s when I started booking work. The catch 22 is you get employment by focusing on the work, not the employment.’

If you find yourself getting stuck with something- you have to somehow remove your focus from the end goal and enjoy the process. We can get really hung up about getting to the destination instead of having fun along the way. Not only does it feel uncomfortable but it makes for more resistant vibration which blocks the outcome!

Bring something different to the table and see what happens!

Abraham was recounting the story of when Esther was hanging with a friend and they were watching a sports match. For fun, Esther saw there was a team who was really behind, so she said jokingly to her friend that they should root for the underdog.

And so they did! They started calling all the plays and before you know it, the underdog team came back and pulled off some ‘impossible’ plays and eventually won.

Was it Esther influencing the match or was she picking up on what was going to happen? Abe said it was a bit of both, she was reading the energy of what was going to happen but also positively influencing the match.

It’s all co creation. So the point is, you can positively affect anything but you have to see the outcome as you want it to be. You don’t help your sick friend but wallowing with them. You help them by knowing their ultimate wellness and goodness and how amazing they are. That’s how you effect change!

Damien Chazelle seems to be quite an anxious person. Being a film director comes with all sorts of responsibilities and decisions. Even more daunting considering how young he is!

He states (like many of us do) ‘If one day I’m lucky enough to get an award for this or a good review for that, then all the fear will go away. I’ll have the affirmation I need and I’ll get to be completely confident and won’t that be great? Man, it’s a rude awakening to realise that’s not the case.’

You would’ve thought if anyone had the confirmation that he’s a good director it would be him. Especially being the youngest person to ever win an Oscar for direction!

But he fell into the when-then game. ‘When such and such happens, then I’ll be happy!’ When you lose the weight, get the money, job, partner or whatever then you can relax. But that usually is not the case because you follow you wherever you go. If you’re happy now, it stands to reason you’ll be happy later. If you’re miserable now, you’ll find something to be miserable about later!

Do your best to appreciate all your good now and release the need to have things change. That’s true enlightenment.

Damien Chazelle- famed director of the wonderful La La Land and Whiplash was being interviewed as his new space film is coming out soon. He was speaking about his dilemmas at work and how to proceed. He ended up writing just so he would have something to direct.

He mused about how important it was that he did projects that were personal to him and not how much money they could make at the box office (even if La La did make almost half a billion dollars on a very modest budget!).

It’s important in life that you do things which are important to you, regardless of outcome. When you’re involved in the process for the sheer joy of it, it is a great experience for you but also it has a resonance that is true. Let go of the outcome and enjoy the journey!
