An Aber friend recommended the movie by Amy Schumer- I Feel Pretty. Although I didn’t find it to be amazing amazing, the premise was definitely an excellent one. Basically, she has an accident and when she comes to, she sees herself as the most gorgeous supermodelesque person ever.
As a result, it’s not so much her state of behind as much as it is her state of mind. She carries herself with such enthusiasm, confidence and passion that it can’t but be infectious.
She charms a gentleman who becomes her partner, she convinces Naomi Campbell and Michelle Williams’ characters to get her a job and thinks everyone is flirting with her- even though they aren’t.
It’s interesting how her expectation and reaction completely changes even though the externals haven’t. And she takes inspired action and ends up getting what she wants. Obviously it’s fictional but the premise is the same. Get into a good space mentally, then take the inspired action!
