Anyhoo, I was sitting down, looking round the subway and then we broke overground and boom! There was the beauty that was the Manhattan skyline. It really is quite a beauty to behold, especially as it was dark at night and it was wonderfully lit up!
I wanted to press my face against the window it was so stunning (although the subway is really dirty, so best not to!).
My eyes darted round the whole carriage as I wanted to see who else was in appreciation... And nada! Not a one person batted an eyelid, looked up or showed any interest in it!
I realised that this must be a multiple daily occurrence for them so it was nothing exciting at all.
It really did show me that we are missing so beauty and things to appreciate because we get so used to and consumed in our own stuff.
We are constantly surrounded with miracles and brilliance that is in life. We must be sure not to get too stuck in a rut and feel the gratitude of all that surrounds us! Appreciate your wonderful now, now!
All is well!!!
Happy Brooklyn-ing!!!
Lots of love, Nick Xxx
