My Law Of Attraction Blog

As Steve Jobs quoted 'Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish.' (And humble!)

Ok, so Steve didn't mention anything about being humble nor do I know his stance on humility. But still! Lol.

The title of this blog was him quoting from The Whole Earth Catalogue- the paper form of Google before Google! It was Jobs' closing words in his amazing Stanford Commencement Speech. Where he spoke about trusting your intuition, connecting the dots when looking back in your life and that change agent that is death.

Stay Hungry

Know that there will be always more to do and experience, be hungry to learn all that this world has to offer you. It is only when you look back that you realise that it all helped you become you. Nothing is ever wasted, there is always something to know and learn.

It was being back at volleyball today that I realised how true this was. When learning how best to physically connect with the volleyball, learning the movements was like dance which I did years ago. The importance of keeping light footed and staying on the balls of your feet can be found in hockey. Dealing with the speed of the volleyball coming over the net was aided by playing badminton- where you have to virtually act on instinct as the shuttlecock comes so fast at you that there is not much time to think!

So keep that hunger inside of you alive. Keep expanding (you cannot help but to!) and keep trying!

Stay Foolish (and humble)

You will not be in a place of completion forevermore. There is always something to learn and you cannot be expected to be perfect at everything all the time. Know that you'll be foolish and new to things and that's ok!

Support and be kind to each other. Try not to lose touch with what it's like to be a beginner. Today I felt infinitely better at volleyball and I was in danger of becoming that guy (you know, the annoying one who expects everyone to be great at it!). I had to reel myself in a wee bit lol

Do your best to offer some kind words. If someone's having a bad day, you could make the difference just by a smile and a supportive word of two.

So just have fun, we make too much of this. Life is for enjoying. Breathe and relax and know that you're doing best. And it's all alright!

Tons of love, Nick Xxx

P.P.S. The Apple Watch comes out very soon! After reading an interview with J. Ives- one of the key designers, you realise the amount of intention that goes into each product. Their goal is NOT to sell the most they can but to create the BEST product they can!!! Xxx
