The past few months have really reinforced that for me. Somethings have occurred which should've made me so happy and they have, but in the middle of it, I focused easily on the things that weren't going well.
Now life is back to calm and centred, I saw that I 'should've' been happier but my attention was elsewhere. So now, I really keep repeating to myself 'be happy now.' It doesn't matter if something or someone isn't to my liking, I can't wait for that to change to be happy. And even if they did, there'd always be something out there which was 'wrong.'
So it really serves you to be happy now and let go of all and any conditions that you think you need to feel better. That's why you want anything in the first place, because you think you'll feel better in the having of it. But you want to reverse that and feel good first! Now we're talking! It's all about the emotionality behind it.
