So today as part of my New Year's Res, I played badminton- I haven't played this for years, if not decades!
First of all, I woke up in the middle of the night, thinking 'Eugh, do I really want to get up early morning?! I could do with a lie in!' It gave me new sympathy and it really showed me how it's easy to procrastinate one's resolutions and fall off the wagon!!!
So I played some matches and I was ok, far from being anywhere near an advanced player though. And in between games, I stopped to watch the good players. It occurred to me that you almost have to be psychic to be at the top levels. The shuttlecocks are going sooo fast that trying to react and hit it back whilst the shuttle is en route is probably too late.
Whilst I don't know for sure, I conjecture that the really advanced player can predict where it's going to be flying based on the movements of the opposing player before they actually hit the shuttle.
I likened this to manifestation. As someone who's objective (to everyone's life but my own), I can tune into a person and the types of things going on in their life (if not exactly, then roughly) and how things are going for them. By the words and general beingness, I can easily see what would help them clear up their vibration and attract more of what they want.
I guess that's what a coach does (sports or otherwise) they see where a player is and directs them to what would help. And those more advanced can start to tune in where they are, see where others are headed and BOOM knock them 'cocks where they want!
I've really seen how with these sports, it takes dedication, regular practise and months if not years of regular practise to start to play with the subtle nuances of fine tuning. So whether you're old or new to consciousness, just keep enjoying the ride, you'll look back, see how far you've come and help a newbie who really needs some support and encouragement, as I definitely do when trying out these sports!
Happy playing the game of life!!!
Lots of love, Nick Xxx
