One thing which caught my ear was when she was in school. Her teacher was going round asking the students what they wanted to be when they grew up, to which she replied that she wanted to be a dancer (ballet I believe), but the teacher replied that she was much too tall so that wouldn't work. Dear Louise was so put off that she didn't take any dancing classes until many decades later when she was an adult.
Such a shame as she so loved to dance. Someone I knew who professed to a colleague that they wanted to teach but they looked at her funny as though to say 'who do you think you are?!'
It's sad to think of how many dreams have been squished by the negative words of another. But we must be strong in the face of doubt and ignore the people who don't believe in us.
It's usually those who cotton back on when you did hit the big time as many celebrities have discovered to their chagrin!
So dust those dancing shoes or whatever hobby shoes you would've loved to have worn and get out there and take the world by storm. Or just have fun in any case!
All is well!!!
Happy dance-ing!!!
Lots of love, Nick Xxx
