I happened across an interview with Dawn French (I believe the credits said 2008). It looked as though she had just written a book- some letters to her father which was a look back at her life.
The interviewer asked about her large size and was it a concern to her at all? She replied that she was happy with her bigness and she's always been quite large even as a child.
She recounted that one of the defining moments, was when she was a teenager and wore purple hot pants to a party in an attempt to impress a boy. Her dad reassured her that she was wonderful no matter what and it didn't matter whether the boys were interested in her or not.
It was natural for her father to offer her such comforting words and so she developed that inner appreciation for herself and her body.
And that is a wonderful thing. The media and society can present the 'ideal' body and anyone who falls outside of that should somehow conform. But we are all Source expressed in these magnificent bodies!!! Whatever your shape, colour or form matters not!
Self appreciation can be the hardest thing, yet it is the most vital component to living a happy life. Your most important relationship is the one you have with yourself. Write everyone else out of the equation of your life!!!
You are magnificent in all your beauty!
Happy bigging!!!
Lots of love, Nick Xxx
