NAME OF PROCESS: Segment Intending
WHAT: As you go about your day, it is naturally broken up into various segments. What you are doing here is stating an intention as to how you would like that experience to unfold. Before you enter into each situation you simply energetically set into motion about how you would like it to be.
EXAMPLE: 9am – Journey to work. I would like this journey to be quick and easy, I’d like to easily find a seat on the train and be able to watch my Ipad in peace and quiet. 10am – First meeting of the day. I would like this business meeting to go easily, I’d like us to reach a mutually beneficial agreement effortlessly and in good time. 11am – Phone call to confirm lunch with my colleague. I’d like to be put straight through to her, I’d like it to be a quick conversation simply agreeing on a venue that we both love.
WHY: As we whizz around our day, it’s easy to get sucked into the busyness of it all. We rush into a situation that ends up not going well and then we try to fix itmidway, by which time it’s already taken too much effort and energy to try to turn it around. With this tool you aresimply telling the Universe – ‘I’d like this next experience to unfold in this way, this way and like this please!’
