So being a DJ would be a natural progression. However, I took a DJ lesson when I was a teenager and I was not great at the basics- the teacher was horribly mean to me and I felt awful after the lesson! I find beat matching rather difficult so dabbled in things but never really touched it again.
Fast forward many years and my bestie DJ mate (‘out of the blue’), offers to help me out. Fast forward a few months of coming in and out alignment and I got a regular gig for a few weeks covering someone. And I am loving it so much! It’s so much fun- the venue is rather big and it’s a nice crowd who have similar musical tastes- it’s so much fun!
Sometimes you have to focus purely on your dreams, other times you have to let it go and be alright if it doesn’t happen. And sometimes- you’ll be thrilled by what unfolds!
All is well!!!
Happy DJ-ing!!!
Lots of love, Nick Xxx
