I do appreciate the customer service aspect of Djing! It gives you an opportunity to connect with a great variety of people (albeit with them usually being little drunk!). I'm definitely not one of those prissy DJs who won't play requests (that's annoying that is!), because they are your customer.

However, this isn't always possible. Sometimes, the song won't fit in the current vibe (so I'll try play it later) or it's something that management won't allow. You can't please all the people all the time. And they may get angry and annoyed but there's nowt I can do for them (and they've usually forgotten later!).

That's like life- there's only so much you can do for others and it doesn't matter whether they like it or not. It's just the way it is.
