She went to talk to the doctor and he cautioned her against be a 'happiness bully.' That made me laugh but also got me thinking!
As much as we want our loved ones (and ourselves) to be happy as much as possible, this isn't always doable nor is it desirable!
Your emotions are there to guide you to where you want to be, not for you to gloss over with a smiley face.
The greatest favour you can do for yourself and others is be the real, authentic you. That means if you're feeling blue about something that's seems quite big, let it settle but know that when you're ready, you can feel better.
There's a huge difference between feeling bad but glossing over it with some happy crap. And feeling bad, letting it ride and then moving towards a better feeling.
Be true to who you are and how you're feeling and let everyone do that for themselves. It's not your job to save the world!
All is well!!!
Happy happy-ing!!!
Lots of love, Nick Xxx
