Although it's the type of behaviour I would never personally engage in, I do find the '... And Suspicious Parents' programmes on BBC Iplayer wildly entertaining. For anyone who's not familiar- it's a reality series which follow the drunken antics of youngsters at festivals/starting university/holidays etc... And unbeknownst to them- their parents get to see what they get up to!
Anyhoo, the episode I'm watching follows a family who has dwarfism. I know nothing about the subject but it's interesting to see how mean people can treat them. They are very brave and seeing into their world gives me a deeper understanding that all people, no matter what, are just trying to get through life as best they can and a little understanding and love can go a long way.
It caught my ear, that when one of the chaps with dwarfism, said if he gets a string of abuse it can bottle up and then he can snap at a person- but it's not necessarily all aimed at them, it's just the culmination of annoyances.
So, if anyone is mean to you or angry, then try not to take it too personally. No one in alignment would be mean, and it stands to reason that the meanness they say out loud- the way they talk to themselves must be even worse!
So do your best to stay in alignment, avoid the meanies and send love wherever you can. Your smart enough, self secure enough and wonderful enough to werk it!
Happy partay-ing!!!
Lots of love, Nick Xxx
