I am just stunned by Yoann Lemoine aka Woodkid's live set. His music videos are deceptively simple- black and white and minimalist but wonderfully set and designed. His live performances look exquisite!
Again, primarily black and white but the staging, musicians, lighting and singers make for enthralling viewing!
It just goes to show that it doesn't matter what you do but how you do it. The crowd are clearly having a blast as they sing along well past the end of the song. Totally euphoric!
It's clear he's got his own style and as he's commented- some really hate your work and others love it. It's the price of being an artist and human.
You just have to be you and stay strong to what makes you tick. You can only pander to others so much and there's too many opinions out there for you to try and please!
