So I called into book our table and whilst on the phone, I imagined this fancy place with the fancy maitre d' and all the fancy staff. I had a brief but pleasant conversation with the reservations chap. Afterwards, I thought to myself 'Well that was very very nice and professional!' And in fairness, it was. But it was only after I took a quick objective step back that I thought to myself that it was good but not like amazing amazing! But because I went in with that such positive expedition and had overlaid how wonderful it must be at the other end of the line, it lifted my perception of that experience!
And that my dears, it what we recommend for you. Place your goodness expectations on whichever situation it is you are wanting to positively influence (which should be all of them lol). Override whatever they are giving you (especially if it is not pleasing!) and see what you are wanting to see, things which you love. Find the positive aspects in the situation and that's really all that matters. Your perception of your life matters most. Just take virtually any product or service and read the reviews! Some will say it is the best thing ever, others will say it is the worst thing ever.
Work to see the good things in all that is around you and you will have the greatest experiences. It's all about you!
All is well!!!
Happy Michelin-ing!!!
Lots of love, Nick Xxx
