Thinking and feeling- what is the relationship??? And how can I werk it?!?! Xxx

Pinch, punch a first of the month to you all! Goodness, time is a-flying!

So, I was asked a wonderful question about thinking or feeling better. Well, the story goes... Is that you have within you, this wonderful connection to Source (aka God, your higher self, your inner being- whatever you choose to refer to that divine, pure loving beingness that is you). Your emotions are your indicator (aka GPS, guidance, Sat Nav) from how in alignment you are or you aren't with that greater part of you.

So what happens is, you think a thought, you view a situation and it generates an emotion to let you know where you are vibrating. And that's why we encourage you so much, with such intensity, to pay attention to your emotions, you gut, your intuition etc. because this is showing you where you are focusing, how connected you are and ultimately what will manifest in your life.

So, for example, you're thinking of your relationship to your workmate (or anyone in your life). You think 'I just adore John, he is so funny and so helpful!' Now, that's a good feeling thought, it's likely you'll be feeling ease, lightness and appreciation- you're in alignment, you're connected and flowing your energy positively. But now, you think of your mother. And you think 'I wish she would stop being a cranky old cow, she was so abusive when I was a child and she stole from me!!!' Now, you're likely to be feeling quite heavy, sick, disgusted etc. this is because you're thinking in opposition to how Source sees her. That is unconditional love! Your higher self within you is always loving everything and everyone, it is seeing the best of every situation, it is shining that spotlight of well being on everything. And that's why feeling bad, feels bad! It's your being saying 'Hey! That's not who they really are! That person is loving and kind and wonderful and are doing the best that they can!'

At every second in time, you have internal feedback letting you know where you're vibrating. That is the Law Of Attraction in a nutshell- what you send out, you get back. So you want to be sending out good vibes, because it feels good. It feels good to feel good! Not sheet Sherlock!!!

So to summarise, you think your thought about something and you have emotional feedback as to if it's a good feeling thought. And your goal is to focus and feel as good as you can.

This isn't meaning to say that if you're being beaten by someone, then you should put a happy face on it and take it. We are saying that you have to train your mind to see only the best in people, set your tone so high that they can only bring the best of themselves to you. I know there are some people in my life who speak to other people awfully, but they daren't speak like that to me, because that's not the relationship we have- they are kindly and generous to me.

It's all about following your gut, because as Steve Jobs put it- it somehow knows what you want to become- sometimes I'll just won't want to do something and I have to follow that feeling and not do it. Hard, but you have to factor out what other people tell you you should do. Stand in your power. 'Quiet' by Susan Cain is a stunning book which really helped me claim who I am- for an introvert, being on your own is an incredibly important component of well being, so I have to seek out that time as it's my recharge time and not force myself out if I don't feel to do it.

Abe have said that they want you to feel not think your way into well being. What I interpret it to mean, is that instead of just saying positive words ('I want to be abundant, I am loved' etc) which can be a bit rote-ish and empty, you shift the emotions as well. You offer a stream of positive consciousness 'I love this abundance, I love the well being flowing through my body, I love being focused in this time-space reality, I am appreciating all this world has to offer.' Hopefully it should help you feel more exhilarated.

So there you have it! Play with your thoughts and emotions, tune yourself into where you are vibrating and see how it pans out! All is well, you cannot get it wrong and you do not get it done, you are an eternal being.
