I remember when I was young young young, I had just started looking into self help and positivity and I was trying it out on the people in my life. I was at one of my first jobs and I remember I said ‘thank you’ for something and the co worker got really huffy and rude. It was a bit shocking at the time, especially as I was essentially a kid!

But, now in my old age and wisdom, I know that it was totally their issue to deal with and nothing to do with me. You cannot take what anyone says, does or how they react personally. Especially if it’s a negative one. It says everything about them and nothing to do with you.

Sit in a place of calm and wisdom, knowing that they’ve got their own crap to deal with but you’ve gotta stay positive and loving to you!
