Odds are that by being involved in this woo woo, consciousness, spiritual being (or different in any way!), you may be perceived to have been weird, sensitive, different etc by those you've come across in your life. Well we say screw em! You're fabulous! Chante you stay... The meanies can sashay away... Ha!
A lot of people who come to the groups and myself included have definitely been labelled as sensitive- this means you can take on things much more than the average Joe. But instead of seeing that as a negative, use it to your strength. Appreciate all the nuances and subtleties that you can pick up on. Women can make better investors than men- quite possibly due to the fact that they are more intuitive and can pick up on the markets etc
Stand tall and stand proud in who you are, whatever that is. Ignore the naysayers and people who would seek to isolate you- they are just disconnected from who they really are and definitely don't listen to them!
I love the work of Elaine Aron 'The Highly Sensitive Person' and Susan Cain 'Quiet.'
They are both amazing people who have helped those who have been sensitive claim their power and thrive in a world where it isn't the ideal norm to be of such a disposition.
But where there's a will there's a way! Be determined to look for all the wonderful aspects about your self and your rare personality trait!
