Life is like a box of perception... You can only know from your point of view and it can all be shifted, merged and divided depending on where you focus.
Some people complain they don't have enough time and others, I'm sure, complain that time goes too slowly (especially if they're at work! Ha). Me being me, I've always usually got something on the go and rushing round, unless I'm on holiday and consciously chosen to switch off, or I'm ill. I've currently got a cold so am slowing things down!
Anyhoo, for me, time generally flies. But interestingly enough, if I microwave something which say, takes 2 minutes (or incidentally, like now, I'm on the last minute of a shift!) and I'm doing nothing but waiting for it- it seems to take a mini eternity! How interesting to have such wildly different experiences (or at least for me it's interesting!). It showed me how a slight shift of focus can bring about a completely different interpretation of a period of time.
There's a state that psychologists refer to as 'flow', this is being 'in the zone.' Being in that good space where you're fully immersed in an activity. This is another example of putting your mind's eye on different visions. If it's music, breathing, yoga, mindful eating, walking or whatever does it for you, do more of it! As you follow your passions, your vibration raises, you get in that good space and you begin to allow your true desires in.
So try it now, if you're feeling good then do whatever it takes to enhance that feeling. If you're not in a good space then turn your attention to something else. Louise Hay recommends concentrating on your fave flower or something equally as innocuously uplifting.
See how ya get on! And do it more often. Your soul (and clock) will thank you for it.
Happy time-ing!
