As I have said, I can be the bestest student in the class or the absolute worst- like really bad! The teacher has no frickin idea what I'm on, haha!
I really need to be able to understand the fundamental mechanics of something before I can fully comprehend it. How to practically apply something before I really get it.
What I love about this work is that you (well, and only you) can know how you're doing on a minute by minute basis. You can know simply by gauging how you feel. It kinda is that simple!
I have a read a number of books on a number of subjects, especially as I love to learn about a variety of things. And on some occasions, I come away thinking, 'That was wonderful, but how do I actually apply it?!' Well, one simple but fundamentally fundamental thing you can do is write a list of appreciation- a list of things you feel good about. It doesn't matter what it is, just things you are truly appreciative of. What this does is put you in a good feeling space, which in turn starts to attract to you what you want.
So that's the practical application- WRITE A LIST OF THINGS YOU APPRECIATE AND FEEL GOOD ABOUT- Ta da! That simple.
And constantly look for things you can feel good about, this puts you in a mode of receptivity of things which will draw to you more good.
If there's something weighing heavy on your mind, do your best to feel relief on that subject. One of my workshop students put it beautifully when she said 'Imagine you have a £500,000 debt and that heavy feeling you have. Well, now imagine that someone has just come up to you and said 'Don't worry about it, I'll pay that debt for you!' The rush of relief you feel- now that's what you want to reach for on subjects you feel resistant/bad about.
And it is our promise that if you can do this as much as you can. Something must shift- even if it's as simple as a bit of peace of mind! And watch your life change before your very eyes.
Happy appreciating dear ones! All my love, Nick Xxx
