I am simply loving Greenleaf! It's a series on Netflix by Oprah and it's about a mega church and all the scandalousness that goes on with some powerful preachings mixed in for good measure.
The head honcho was talking to his reluctant daughter who was gifted at preaching and partway through the conversation he said to her 'let your yes be yes and let your no be no.' And how true that is.
From a Law Of Attraction perspective, it means to not split your energy, i.e. to not say something but internally wanting to do the opposite or having contradictory energy. For example, hating your job but staying in it, or leaving your job but feeling terror about not being able to support yourself. Instead, stay in your job and look for things to be happy about and appreciate OR leave your job and know you'll be taken care of.
Things go funky when we cross our own internal wires. We secretly want to stay in but feel we have to go out because our friends are 'making' us.
Line up your energy, make any decision and give it your 100% energy. Then things will flow much easier.
