No, not those voices!!! The other ones!!! Lol! I'm seeing Titanic Live at the Royal Albert Hall next week- it's the film but the soundtrack is being played by a live orchestra. It was originally meant to be conducted by the amazing James Horner but he done his shoulder in and so he's doing a Q&A.
Anyhoo, I was watching the documentaries on the Titanic DVD and James Cameron was talking through the deleted scenes. There was a part where he mentioned that a little voice in his head said that he shouldn't do a particular scene but he ignored this and continued on anyway. In the previews, the audiences gave the consistent feedback was that scene didn't fit at all. James was saying that it cost them a mini fortune to stage and quite a lot of time to reset it all when filming (it involved a lot of flooding the main rooms). So in the end it got completely removed- so the scene was filmed for nothing.
Interestingly enough I was watching the Eggheads quiz show before I went out and they kept saying 'There's a little voice saying this is the answer' and invariably they were correct...
Now, it's all easy in hindsight to say 'oh, I should've listened to that voice' and my point isn't that it's wrong. What I'm saying is that, to a degree virtually everyone has their gut/intuition/higher self working for them. And it's your job to tune into it. As Steve Jobs said in his commencement speech (you can find this on my resources page), 'Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become.'
So, just see what you gut tells you with regards to small decisions and see what happens.
I went for dinner tonight with my family and I was surprised at how quiet I was. I can't say I'm one for small talk, especially in larger groups. It reminded me of Susan Cain's talk and book about introversion 'Quiet. The power of introverts in a world that can't stop talking.' It's SOOO good. If you've ever been labelled quiet, sensitive, a deep thinker, shy (to a degree). Then I highly recommend it.
The fact that you're willing to explore spirituality is testament to the fact that you think more deeply than most people. We tend to have such a rich inner life that it is harder to express it sometimes.
It also highlighted to me how much I love this subject of Law Of Attraction as I'm more than happy to be an open book and stand in front of groups to teach. Not necessarily because it's who I naturally am but because I believe so passionately about how life changing this stuff is!
Happy introverting!!! Stand proud dear ones!!! The world needs people like you!!!
All my love, Nick Xxx
