If you view it as 'you'll win or you'll learn.' That is a great viewpoint of competing. If you don't come first then you'll learn something! If you really focus on the fun then it becomes so much more enjoyable.
I remember I went bowling with some friends and I was late, so they added me on and I had a few throws before I was caught up. I had just come from dance class and was in a relaxed, frivolous mood so I quickly threw the bowls just to get it done and I got a good number of pins. By the end of the evening I proceeded to win both games! I was in a light state of mind, combined with some good skill which allowed me to do really well!
It highlighted to me that when I wasn't fussed about the outcome and was having fun that I could win also. A good night all round for me!
So keep your eye on the goal- which is well being and good times and you can win and enjoy yourself!
All is well!!!
Happy compete-ing!!!
Lots of love, Nick Xxx
