Louise Hay was talking about the time she was on the stage in a play back in the day.
She said she looked fine on the surface, but inside her inner child was literally pooing itself! So much so that she had to be on the anti-diarrhoea medication Kaopectate!
Whenever you do something new and scary, it might terrify you, but you just have to see it through, give it your best shot and whatever will be, will be.
When you do it again and again, you'll get used to it and then you won't need the poo meds!
The other element which Louise used later on when she lectured was to not say one word of criticism to herself when she got off the stage. She would only say kind, encouraging words to herself. A few days later, when things had calmed down, she would then consider what she could do to improve it next time.
Be kind to yourself and then go from there!
